Reflection - Forgive other people

Recently, a question was asked to me. The question was… why are we to forgive?

The way that I answered this question was based on the verse from Matthew 6:14 that says, ‘For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.’

This is so true, as forgiving other people will pave the wayfor the heavenly Father to also forgives us. Forgiving other people also brings peace between people and nations, and through the grace of the heavenly Fatherthe process of healing also takes place.

I encourage you, to take courage, trust in Him, and forgive anyone who could have hurt you. In return, you will be blessed, as the Father will also forgive you and embrace you.
