What does it mean to have an “intimate relationship” with God? To get intimate with God is to develop and nurture a close, personal, one-on-one relationship with Him by embracing and cultivating the relationship between your human spirit and the indwelling Holy Spirit. The Spirit of God intertwines with our spirit to testify that we are His children (Romans 8:16) and renews and transforms our mind and hearts to mold us in the image of Christ. The Spirit guides, directs and teaches us in the ways of the Lord.
