Along with being an Associate Professor of Graphic Design at Portland State University, Kate Bingaman-Burt is also an illustrator and owns and operates Outlet. She proudly sits on the board of directors for Design Week Portland. In this episode of Getting Work To Work, Kate and I talk about Design Week Portland, a week-long event April 14-21, 2018, her passion for educating the next generation of designers, the power of community, and how her work as an illustrator and professor is fueled by Design Week Portland.
