Liz Lovely brings you cookies with a higher purpose.  As Liz puts it, "Authenticity from start to finish." That means an uncompromising commitment to perfection, and a relentless approach to social responsibility. We don't cut corners, and we don't prioritize profits over people or the planet.  We've come a long way since 2003. It's been a treacherous road frought with peril. Every day requires courage and dedication. But the rewards are many. Like the encouraging emails, phone calls, and visits we get every day from our fans.

On Today’s show Liz will share:

-What’s Your Personal Mission Statement
Be relentless, more relentless than everyone around you.

-Biggest Business Mistake
Taking on investors too early in the business.

-How Do You Handle Business Stress and Uncertainty
I ride the ups and the downs.  Business is like a roller coaster.  I celebrate all the ups, they need to be acknowledged.  Staying in business is a battle and each up is like a little victory.  Whether that’s just making payroll, launching a new product successfully or getting a big chain of store to pick us up.  I can’t lie and say I don’t take the downs personally but I try and find the reason in them.  I ask myself, what good is going to come from this bad thing happening?  I also try to live a balanced life to cope with the immense stress of the day to day.  I take time for myself every day to workout. I make sure I have food that makes me feel good with me at all times so I don’t eat out of stress.  I take time with my kids and my family so I remember why I am working so hard.  I remind myself that I am only going to go out of business if I don’t show up.

-Greatest Business Decision That Changed Everything
Listening to my customers (and my partner) to release gluten free cookies.  It saved the business.

-Best Book For The Entrepreneurial Mindset
I mostly read cookbooks.  They inspire me to think about what is next.

-Plus much more...
