When I started my first business, I was told it was a pipe dream.

When I created my first podcast to talk about my mental health, I was told it was "committing career suicide" because no one will want to employ someone if they consider them to be "mentally unfit".

I was advised that I would be much better off to keep my mouth shut, keep my head down and stay in a secure, corporate job for the next 40 years, and save any pipe dreams for my retirement plans.
