Today we look at this message titled ‘A Confrontation with Eternal Significance’ between a young rich man and Jesus.  When I meditated upon this Scripture, the thing that stuck out to me is the brevity of this meeting.  Surely it took literally only a minute or two for the entirety of the conversation – but the consequences of the decision that was made here is lasting for eternity.  I wonder how many times people have been confronted with the Words of Christ, and they make a decision that has the same far-reaching effects. 

I pray, when you’re confronted with the Words of Christ, you’ll make the right decision.
