Most people aren’t happy about getting let go from a job. This includes Dave Denes. He was fired from a radio station in 2009. But that was only the beginning of his story.
“Getting let go, in retrospect, was the best thing that could’ve happened to me professionally,” Denes tells the Tech on Tap Podcast of his story of growth.
The founder and CEO of Glendale-based Benztown, Denes now operates a market leader in the international radio-imaging, production library, programming, jingles and voice-over services industry.
Today, his company provides some sort of the above listed services to 2,300 stations around the world – with 90% of customers in the US and 10% international.
Listen to this episode to hear all of that and Denes’s love of Glendale, and a sampling of his company’s work. To learn more about Benztown or to get in touch with Denes, visit benztown.com or @benztownradio on social media.
