There are over 1,200 school-based health centers throughout the United States and 50 in Massachusetts alone.  In this edition of Pulse On Health, we celebrate February being National School Based Health Center month by talking with Lisa Howe, Nurse Practitioner at the GLFHC school-based health center, located in Greater Lawrence Technical High School.  She talks about the services provided at the center, as well as how school-based health centers help lower absentee numbers in the schools where they are based.
