Moderated by Dr. Robert Mauro, Director of the Global Leadership Institute panelists discuss Europe’s economic and public health future; how Ireland leads in the European institutions; and what this means for the EU’s relationship with the United States, China, and other states around the globe.

Noelle O Connell, Executive Director of European Movement Ireland since April 2011. Founded in 1954, European Movement Ireland is Ireland’s longest established Not for Profit voluntary membership organisation dedicated to developing the connection between Ireland and Europe.
Botond Feledy, Foreign policy expert and educator specializing in transatlantic relations, with special regard to hostile influence campaigns in the Euro-Atlantic countries. He is in charge of the European Leadership Programme at the Jesuit European Social Centre, Brussels.
Barry Colfer Visiting research fellow at the Center for European Studies at Harvard and a research fellow at the University of Cambridge. Barry has previously worked at Dáil Éireann (the Irish parliament) and at the European Parliament and with a range of leading think-tanks in Berlin, Brussels and Westminster.
