Joining Kathy today is Chip Weasley, one of the teachers from Topgolf in Salt Lake City. Chip grew up on the east coast and talks about how he ended up teaching golf in Utah. Golf was always a part of his life, with Chip remarking that he can hardly remember any time in his childhood when he wasn’t holding a golf club.

A father of five, Chip discusses how involved his kids are in golf and what it was like to teach them. Kathy loves the layout of Topgolf, so she asks Chip to illustrate why the experience is different than that of a normal driving range. He talks about the laid-back atmosphere and the amenities that are involved.

Topgolf provides lessons privately, just for kids, in groups, and more, and Chip provides a description of what each entail. With summer coming up soon, Chip explains what special courses will be happening during this season. Additionally, we hear about a summer pass that Chip says is especially a great deal. To round out this episode, Chips shares advice on how to get kids outside and golfing.
