In the 4th episode, we are going to briefly see the benefits of reading in our mental health, as well as how it can help us to deal with depression/anxiety and escape our everyday life problems for a period of time.

Reading can reduce stress, it can make us experience a wide range of emotions when it comes to fiction or non-fiction books. Reading can also help us to fall asleep with more ease, in this case, it is more recommended to read a physical book because the lights on the screen at night disrupt our sleeping. Reading can also improve our memory and help prevents memory loss as we age. Last but not least, while we are engaged in reading, we forget our worries about the future and/or the past.
