God’s best gifts are better than anything else. Embracing the practice of looking at life through different glasses. God is writing a story of your life and it is unique to you. how can we be looking at our current season of life through God’s perspective.
Following God in faitth and being a “whole person” and finding your identity in the Lord— not in your status, relationships or otherwise is important as we walk towards God. Waiting on the Lord is an active practice- not just a somber, passive practice it is others focused and a joy! Some uncomfortable seasons end up being fruitful and flourishing.
Be encouraged and challenged as you hear how Renee has sought after the Lord and and how serving the Lord grows our purpose in life. Over the years her dreams have changed and grown, she has a passion project of visual note-taking and would love to see that grow over time. being discerning with time and investing in the outliers and those with a teachable spirit. We only have so much time and investing in people can build capacity.
Renee talks about “contusion friends” and ones that will push you and encourage you to be better and in unexpected ways. She has been encouraged by the marriages and service she has observed in other members of the church. As a single woman she has been blessed by being involved in the whole church and people in other seasons and stages and not just being surrounded by those that are just like her. Finding the sweetness of the season she has in has helped her shore up for the seasons to come. Looking for opportunities in front of you is a great place to start.
