This is Gone Racing, Fison's

0:04

premier NASCAR betting podcast. Here

0:06

are your hosts, former NASCAR driver Brendan

0:08

Gone and Las Vegas Motor Speedways

0:10

and Jeff Motley.

0:12

Hey back another week, have Gone Racing, Jeff

0:14

Motley. And you kind of see the desk. It looks

0:16

a little empty right now. Brendan's

0:18

running a little bit late. And I know we say that we record

0:21

the show. You wonder, well, then why don't you guys wait

0:23

for him? Well, it's because other people get to

0:25

have the studio after we do, so we

0:27

have to start on time this week.

0:28

But fortunately we have our other

0:31

expert here.

0:31

Why at time check our producer behind the glass,

0:33

So he's gonna fill in back there for Brendan

0:36

until you see Brendan come running in, maybe

0:38

even faster than you saw him at Talladega

0:41

and Daytona back in his racing days.

0:42

When he gets here.

0:44

And when he does, we're gonna finish wrapping up this

0:46

Michigan race. We had this last weekend, the twenty

0:48

four Hours of Michigan as some people called it, because

0:51

they started the race on Sunday. They got

0:53

about seventy five of the two hundred laps in

0:55

before rain call things off and

0:57

had to finish the race on Monday. And holy

0:59

smokes, I had two weeks in a

1:01

row. Chris Buscher, huge,

1:03

huge underdog. I mean he's gone.

1:05

He was a fifty five to one to win the

1:08

week before, then a forty to one

1:10

to win this past week at Michigan. He's won two in

1:12

a row. Break up, Chris Buscher. That team looks

1:14

really good.

1:14

You know, I was talking with Brendan last week.

1:16

I was like, man, if Chris Buscher can win again,

1:19

I'm looking at RFK and especially him

1:21

as legit championship contenders, and that

1:24

was very impressive. I'm very frustrated yet again

1:26

we did not have Chris Buscher in a group

1:28

matchup. We always bet him, but shame on

1:31

us. Also, we didn't pick him to win.

1:33

No, we didn't pick him to win.

1:34

But I am looking forward to talking about

1:36

how we did last week. You know, I was off on vacation

1:38

last week, and I think I should stay on vacation

1:41

based on the picks that I had this week. But we'll talk

1:43

about those in the last segment of the show.

1:45

But one little bit of news we need

1:47

to cover here. You know, we are recording this show

1:49

on Thursday. The news just came down

1:51

this morning that Noah Gregson has asked for

1:53

his release from Legacy Motor Club.

1:55

Of course, he had been suspended by the race team and then

1:57

by NASCAR a couple weeks. So

2:00

just want to get that news out there that pretty

2:02

much hands the Rookie of the Year title to Ty Gibbs

2:05

because they were really the only two drivers that really had

2:08

a chance at it. So just want to get that piece of news out

2:10

there. But back to Michigan. We mentioned the fact

2:12

that Chris Buscher was forty to one

2:14

to win the race. He was also double digit

2:16

to get a top three, He was eleven to one for a

2:18

top three, and he also brought Ford

2:20

home at a plus two fifty five. Why

2:23

you mentioned the fact that he was not in a

2:25

group, he didn't have a head to head matchup. So

2:27

we don't have as many odds that we can talk about on what

2:30

Chris Busher did. But one thing that you know,

2:32

Brendan and I had talked about a number of times

2:34

on this show when we talk about the championship

2:36

odds, we talked about who do you need to jump

2:38

in on win Chris Buscher. Two

2:40

weeks ago before he won it Richmond was eighty

2:43

to one to win the championship. Then

2:45

he won it at Richmond, his

2:47

odds were cut in half forty

2:49

to one. Now he wins again at Michigan,

2:52

they're cutting half again, twenty

2:54

to one.

2:55

We're going to get down on Chris Busher.

2:57

You're probably better get in now, because if Chris Busher

2:59

has another solid run, you're gonna see those

3:01

numbers drop down to like twelve and thirteen to one.

3:03

Yeah, Joe, and I think now we

3:06

can make the argument. I think that RFK

3:08

has been the top four team this year, better

3:10

than Penske, definitely better than Stuart

3:13

Haas because Brad Kaslowski finished

3:16

top five yet again, I mean they

3:18

are running consistently well

3:20

week in and week out. This is

3:22

a very dangerous team. And I'm crossing

3:24

my fingers because I have an over on Brad Keselowski's

3:27

wins this year at half that he will get

3:29

into victory lane as well.

3:30

Well.

3:30

I think the way he's running, I think he certainly has has

3:33

a great opportunity. And I think the other thing that's

3:35

really interesting about this, I mean, let's

3:37

let's let's face it, the Penske team and

3:39

the Stuart Haws team. We probably

3:42

think of them as being bigger teams, maybe

3:45

better funded teams, I don't know, and

3:47

they really have not run that well in the Fords, and

3:49

what we've seen right now is that RFK has

3:51

become the dominant forward team out

3:53

there, and I think that is that's going to be huge for them

3:55

going forward. And it's also got to give Ford

3:58

a big shot in the arm to get a couple of wins here, because

4:00

I mean we've even kind of poop pooed them on the show

4:02

how poorly they had been running throughout this year,

4:05

and now to see them reel off a couple

4:07

of consecutive victories, looks like they're going

4:09

to get at least three, maybe four guys

4:11

into the playoffs. So they're gonna have as

4:13

good a chance as anybody when they get in there.

4:15

Yeah, me and Brendan were talking about it last week. We're like, man,

4:17

we kind of like the force. We just can't We didn't

4:19

know if that was going to be kind of a one off

4:21

at Richmond.

4:22

Now.

4:23

I mean, I'm believing the Fords with RFK, but everybody

4:26

else though, I mean, Logano was

4:29

decent. Ryan Blaney was kind of hit and

4:31

miss. Sindrick actually had a decent run, but

4:33

the Stuart Hawk guys. I thought Kevin Harvick

4:35

would have a more dominant day than he

4:38

did, and he just kind of kind of used strategy

4:40

there to get a top ten late in the race.

4:42

Right Well, you know, last year he went into this race

4:44

needing a win to make the playoffs, and

4:46

I don't think he really has to worry about making the playoffs

4:48

right now unless we get some big upsets in

4:51

these last three races, which we know are capable.

4:53

All right, let's take a look here at our top ten. We

4:56

mentioned Busher's numbers. Martin Trix Junior was

4:58

second with a plus two ten. I tell he

5:00

he's the hottest guy in the sport right now. Denny

5:02

Hamlin another Toyota plus

5:04

one seventy five for a top three,

5:07

and then you.

5:07

Run down the whole top ten.

5:09

Uh, not necessarily any shocks there.

5:10

Keselowski has been running well.

5:12

Larson a good bounce back run for

5:14

the track House team, Daniel Suarez, Ross

5:16

Chastain getting six and seventh, and

5:19

the fastest or slowest man in NASCAR

5:21

is walking in. Can we get can we hit a pan

5:23

into the screen of Brendan as he

5:26

walks into the chick.

5:26

There he is, there, he is, he's

5:29

here. I'll

5:31

get that later and clean shaven looks like

5:33

that.

5:33

Oh big black feu. Oh we got the black flag.

5:36

Okay, black flag, black flag for Brenda, Brenda.

5:38

We're talking about the top ten right now, because we've

5:40

already given Chris Buscher his props for this

5:42

week.

5:43

Kind of down there.

5:44

Really the only big surprise in the top ten Eric Jones

5:46

getting another top ten for Legacy Motor Club.

5:48

Well, but me surprise Chris Buscher. I

5:51

mean, come on, forty to one last week, fifty five,

5:53

this week forty unbelievable. What

5:55

they're doing at RKA. I saw Brad Keselowski this

5:57

weekend. Never been so

5:59

proud of a person. I mean, what he's done is

6:01

amazing there.

6:02

And it's really, I think become obvious that he's

6:04

really kind of taking control of that team and kind

6:06

of molded it into the team that he wants it to be.

6:09

Talked to Newmark, talked to a lot of the guys. They

6:12

say that it's a totally different atmosphere

6:14

with Brad there. It's just he

6:17

brings what we always say, Kurt Busch brings

6:19

right, Kurt goes to a place, just

6:23

makes things better. But Brad's

6:25

doing it on an organizational level. It's amazing what he's

6:27

done after they have relevant skin well.

6:29

And I think a lot of people were probably

6:32

surprised that Chris Buscher

6:34

was going to be the second driver on that team,

6:37

because I don't think people really knew what Chris was capable

6:39

of, because we'd really never seen Chris in

6:41

a capable race car. I think Chris

6:44

Buscher has certainly established himself

6:46

now. I mean he's one of the guys to

6:48

be going into the playoffs right.

6:51

One the last two races on a short track

6:54

and now on not

6:57

a super speedway, but you know, a big, massive

6:59

speedway where by the way, you weren't here last

7:01

week. But all I did was poop

7:03

poo the Ford's about. But at Michigan

7:05

they always when straight.

7:07

What'd I say? Why what did I say? Last week? Though? I'm

7:10

so scared because the

7:12

Fords are awful on these tracks, but it's

7:14

Michigan. And that's why I bet Ford,

7:16

as I say, you picked for so you couldn't

7:18

have poo pooed them too bad? I did, but I just

7:20

I kept saying I wasn't sure. But you look at the top ten. Okay,

7:23

you got Brad, And how about the best

7:25

Ford team now is RFK? You

7:27

know you got Harvick there, Harvick once again a

7:29

A S.

7:30

Harvick Lain, he got in there.

7:31

But you're right, it's what we were talking about just right

7:33

before you walked in. You could

7:36

argue that the Penske team and Stewart host team are

7:38

better funded, bigger.

7:39

Teams, no argument they are. But RFK

7:41

is clearly setting the bar for Ford

7:43

right now. They're clearly the best one. And and

7:46

you know Martin Trux Junior, Denny Hamlin, those guys strong

7:48

right there. But what I liked was that Daniel Swarez

7:50

move. Daniel Suarez is finally starting

7:53

to to start clicking back

7:55

again where he's he's trying to keep himself

7:57

in that conversation of relevance.

7:59

Well, and that kind of brings to where we are right now

8:01

at the show. And that's kind of talking about where we are

8:03

in terms of the standings. We've only got

8:05

three races to go, and you talk to

8:07

that Daniel Suarez, well, he's only five points

8:09

below the cut line, even though he's in eighteenth

8:12

place. Right now,

8:14

if we don't get a big upset, we've

8:16

got fifteen of the sixteen spots

8:18

that are in pretty good shape right now.

8:20

I mean you get you look at at Bubba.

8:22

Wallace, Brad Keselowski, and Kevin Harvick, the

8:24

three guys without wins, they're in

8:26

pretty good shape.

8:27

You know. First, William Byron on the

8:29

on on the leader of the points. William

8:31

Byron had one hundred point lead a couple weeks

8:33

ago. Now he's one hundred points behind. So

8:36

William Byron has absolutely faded

8:39

as far as he Remember a couple weeks ago we were saying

8:41

he was our favorite for the whole deal. Now TRUEX

8:43

was there, and TRUEX now has their agency and point lead. But

8:45

this this cut line thing, how about Ty

8:48

get the rookie Ty Gibbs

8:50

squeaking in there? Now the cut line's super

8:52

close. It's it's a bloodbath right there at that line.

8:55

But as you said, Jeff, you get one winner, one

8:58

different winner right now, out of the top sixteen.

9:00

That cut line goes to Bubba Wallace, who has

9:02

a pretty comfortable gap.

9:04

He's an a comfortable gap as long as there's

9:06

only one set winner, that's right, and we're

9:09

and I know the one guy that we're both looking at, right,

9:11

there is a guy in nineteenth going

9:13

into these next two races. If AJ

9:15

Allmendinger doesn't have these two

9:18

races, I mean it is all or nothing in these two

9:20

races for AJ Allmendinger. The way I

9:22

see it, he really has to say I have

9:24

to win one of these two races.

9:26

Well, I think, colleague, I think CAUG already proved

9:28

that they already have that in their mindset, right

9:30

by what they did at Road America by

9:32

sending by sending AJ

9:35

to Road America to race the road course and not start

9:37

Richmond and start from the back. I

9:39

think they already kind of said all our

9:42

eggs are in the AJ road course basket. So

9:44

they're definitely looking at that. And you got twentieth Alex

9:46

Bowman, and don't forget not on this page who

9:48

was on it last week, Chase Elliott.

9:51

Two of the Hendrick cars are sitting way

9:53

out right now of the cut line.

9:54

Well, I think we know Chase Elliot

9:57

has to win to get in. He's not jumping

9:59

all those guys and making up all those points.

10:01

Jase Elliott, it's win now it

10:03

is. I agree right now, I believe it is. Absolutely

10:06

yeah, there's no pointing his way.

10:07

And well, looking at this, we talked about the fact we've only

10:09

got three races left in the regular season. This

10:11

weekend, it's going to be the road course at Indianapolis,

10:14

followed by another road course at Watkins Glen,

10:16

and followed by everybody's favorite

10:19

term, the crap shoot that is the

10:21

Coke zero Sugar four hundred at Daytona.

10:24

The playoffs will start with Darlington to Southern

10:26

five hundred and then go to Kansas. But honestly,

10:29

we're really not looking past Daytona right

10:31

now.

10:32

And I think NASCAR, how once, let's

10:34

go back through to a plaud Ben Kennedy and these guys that

10:36

do the scheduling. Now the app that you

10:38

took the notorious July fourth Daytona

10:40

race, right, I mean, Jeff, They've been doing that since

10:43

nineteen fifty something, and

10:45

they had the guts to put it as the

10:47

cutoff race. We used to love Richmond as the

10:49

cutoff race, nothing like what has become at

10:51

Daytona.

10:51

Well, and I agree with I love Daytona being last.

10:54

I will say this if it was one thing that

10:56

I would have done a little differently.

10:58

I wouldn't have had back to back road

11:01

courses.

11:01

I would have gone Indy Michigan

11:04

Watkins Glen Daytona or Watkins

11:06

Glenn Michigan Indie Daytona. I

11:09

probably wouldn't have put the two back to back road

11:11

courses back to back. That would just probably be the one

11:13

thing that me I would do different I.

11:16

Mean, you could argue for it, and you know, it gives

11:18

the guys an extra week for road course car you know, some things

11:20

like that, but still super cool and

11:23

we all know the last couple of years

11:25

we've had surprise winners to get themself. Austin Dillon

11:27

did the walk off home run last year

11:29

to make the playoffs.

11:30

He did, and we certainly know that's a possibility when

11:32

you get to Daytona.

11:33

Okay, we come back on Gone Racing.

11:35

We got a lot of things to talk about, but more

11:37

importantly we're going to be breaking down this race at

11:39

Indianapolis this weekend.

12:03

This is Gone Racing, Fison's

12:06

premiere NASCAR Betty podcast. You're

12:08

your hosts former NASCAR driver Brendan

12:10

Gone and Las Vegas Motor Speedways.

12:12

Jeff Motley and.

12:14

Yes, Brendan Gone really is here in

12:16

the flesh. He is here for the opening of the

12:18

secondent. Do you catch your breath? Okay,

12:22

all right?

12:22

Vegas in the rain, Jay, Well, it's

12:24

true, rarely rain.

12:25

I was gonna say, when you said you were late,

12:28

I was like, ooh, it is raining outside

12:30

and usually about five minutes of rain.

12:32

Yeah, town, it's Brendon

12:34

loves racing in the rain. I love it, and

12:37

I know one likes driving in the rain in Las

12:39

Vegas.

12:40

It's a little it's it's interesting.

12:41

Exactly if if if you've never been to

12:43

Las Vegas, driving in the rain in Las Vegas is like driving

12:46

on IC in Greensboro, North.

12:47

Yes, Brendan, what's more hectic driving

12:50

in the rain in Vegas or driving to Talladegain

12:53

in Vegas.

12:54

You can trust the guy you can for the most part, you

12:56

can trust the guys. I know

12:58

who I can fion at

13:01

least I know who it is that I'm next to

13:03

out here. You don't know who's putting their makeup on and

13:05

who's you know, got their phone playing Candy

13:07

Crush. So yeah, it's definitely interesting.

13:09

All right, Well, this weekend, let's hope

13:11

you don't get rain. But if we do get rain, guess what we

13:14

got rain tires for this race. It's okay.

13:16

So we're heading off to the road course in Indianapolis

13:18

two point six miles, which is actually a tenth

13:20

of a mile longer than if they actually ran the

13:22

oval. Fifteen turns asphalt

13:25

and brick, which is funny. The brick is all of like

13:28

three feet a brick.

13:30

But they actually list the brick. That's amusing

13:32

list the brick so away.

13:33

Last year's winner was Tyler Reddick, but

13:36

Tyler Reddick driving for a different race team last

13:38

year than he is this year. It seems like this

13:41

year Tyler Reddick, along with several

13:43

other Toyota guys, just keep getting

13:45

in their own way.

13:47

You know what's funny is I was first

13:49

segment type stuff. We were pitted next in with

13:51

the sixty two car next to Tyler's guys couple

13:53

RCR guys. I look at him. I good, guys, you realize

13:56

you're the fastest in the sport anyway, slow

13:58

down, you slow down on you

14:00

take that extra extra tenth of a second,

14:03

half a second, and you're still beating everybody.

14:05

Oh no, no, no, we got this. We got and what happens

14:08

again.

14:10

Exactly so as we head off

14:12

and now the last time we ran

14:14

on a road course, street

14:16

course, whatever you want to call it, had big

14:19

upset winner Shane van Gisbergen.

14:21

The man, the myth and the legend is

14:23

back.

14:23

He is back.

14:24

He'll be back in that in that car with track

14:27

House Racing the Project ninety one

14:30

car returning this week. We got

14:32

a big international flavor here of Brodie

14:34

Costeki will be coming in from Australia, Kamo

14:36

Kabayashi from Japan, and Jensen

14:39

Button making a return from England.

14:40

And of course we also have Daniel Suarez. I

14:42

mean, isn't he He's always He's always in, He's

14:45

always here, but I mean we should count Daniel Suarez

14:47

as well.

14:47

And we also got Mike Rockenfelters, who's going

14:49

to be in the car that Greson is.

14:51

That missed our our deal. He's now replacing Noah

14:54

this week.

14:54

So that's so it'll be playing a lot of different national

14:56

anthems before this.

14:57

We could I look Jensen,

15:00

he's been running some stuff all year long and hasn't

15:02

looked very good, so you know, you gotta

15:04

he is great normally, but the one to me that's

15:06

exciting is Kobayashi. If you don't know Komui

15:09

Kobayashi, he's an international,

15:12

he's a sports car guy in America. That's

15:14

phenomenal. But he's driving

15:17

a twenty three eleven Toyota. That

15:19

to me is where the big difference comes

15:21

in is that Kobayashi could be It could

15:23

be like shanevng Giesbergen where he's he's

15:26

driven heavier cars, he's done some things, so

15:28

I do like that. And Kosteki also is

15:30

a is a supercars guy also,

15:32

So that's what shanevanng

15:34

Giesbergen is is a via supercar guy. So is Brody.

15:37

So a lot a lot of international guys

15:39

could could have flair here.

15:40

Again well, and I think though I

15:42

think Shane van Geisbergen had a

15:45

little bit of a the street course the

15:47

street course well. But the other thing about the street

15:49

course race, though, is he had as

15:51

many laps on that track, is that anybody

15:53

else He had done the simulator work like

15:56

everyone else. Now he's

15:58

going to a track that these guys have a

16:00

lot of laps on that these other guys

16:02

are much more familiar with. I just think that's

16:05

gonna raise the bar and make it a little bit.

16:07

You're not gonna see him come from fourteenth to second

16:09

like he was doing at Chicago. He's gonna

16:11

have to work harder. But this is a road course that is

16:14

pretty technically sound, which you know my argument

16:16

on that, which means that it will give those guys

16:18

a little bit of a boost. Rockenfeller

16:21

is somebody that's not listed on here that we need to pay attention to

16:23

because he is also driving a good car. But Kosteki,

16:26

Kobayashi, and Van Geisberg, and I believe all

16:28

will be will be in the discussion

16:30

this week more so than other other road

16:33

courses, and I think I agree. I was gonna

16:35

say that because I think Watkins Glenn

16:37

I don't give them nearly the same opportunity

16:39

that I would at Indianapolis.

16:41

All right, let's take a look at our odds to win the race

16:43

this week. I guess we're not really surprised

16:45

to Our favorite is Martin Truex Junior. He is

16:48

the hottest guy on the sport. Well guess

16:50

he's the second hottest guy. But he has still been the

16:52

most consistent guy over the last three

16:54

months of the season. He's comes in at a plus four

16:56

hundred, Tyler Reddick at plus five fifty,

16:58

Shane Van Gisbergen is play seven hundred,

17:01

Chase Elliot or oddsmakers are still

17:03

believing in him plus seven fifty, Kyle

17:05

Busch at ten to one, Kyle Larson, Christopher

17:07

Bell at eleven, aj Allmendinger

17:10

sixteen, Daniel Suarez and Brodie Kostecki

17:12

at eighteen, Denny Hamlin, Chris

17:14

Busher at twenty, William Byron

17:16

Ross Chastain at twenty two, Michael

17:19

McDowell, Austin Sindrick at twenty

17:21

eight.

17:22

Sorry did you just say? I think I misheard

17:24

your I was looking down at my computer screen. Did did I hear?

17:26

J ellmen Dinger six sixteen one?

17:29

Sorry? Did I did? That's the folks

17:31

at DraftKings.

17:32

I think they've put it.

17:33

They put his car number up instead of I

17:37

liked the pool sixteen to one on a j almending

17:39

At this race.

17:40

Course, you'd realize that there's only been two

17:42

races here.

17:44

He won the first one when

17:46

he was a full time Infinity Series driver.

17:48

And finished seventh in the second one. Like

17:51

you know this right? Like Hi, Hello,

17:55

yeah, oh wow.

17:59

I think that's a that's a huge and you know, Christopher

18:01

Bell is a very accomplished road course guy.

18:03

Eleven to one Chris

18:05

Chris rs, well, how about okay,

18:08

eleven? But how about Chris Buscher. Here's

18:10

a guy who has proven himself this year that

18:12

he's capable, very capable on road courses.

18:15

Not to mention, as you like to say, I

18:17

love having moment.

18:19

If there's anybody who momentum my boy, Chris as

18:21

Buscher twenty to one on

18:23

Chris Buscher. Wow, And you gotta remember

18:26

Chris hasn't won a road course this

18:28

year, but in the last ten

18:30

road course races nine

18:34

nine top ten finishes, nine

18:37

average finish seven point nine. Not another

18:39

driver in the entire field

18:42

has a higher average finish than Chris

18:45

Buscher in the last ten road course races.

18:47

Twenty to one and he's going off at two wins in a row.

18:49

Oh you know the other guy at twenty to one Danny

18:51

Hamlin.

18:53

Now Danny Hamlin should have won this race

18:55

and Brisco took him out the first year.

19:00

Remember that.

19:01

No, I just I'm

19:03

looking at this going you know Denny.

19:05

Denny lately has n't been good on road courses, but he

19:07

did run well and got taken out.

19:08

Well, he was running great at Sonoma. Now that's a

19:10

little bit of a different type road course.

19:12

But I just I'm just looking

19:14

through some of these stats and going, wow, there

19:16

are a maz I mean Michael McDowell

19:19

twenty eight to one, you know, I mean Ross Shastain,

19:22

what he's done at Coda and stuff. You know, there

19:24

are some great numbers here, and there's guys in the second

19:26

pace that we can talk about who've done great at this track. Well,

19:28

let's get to that second page.

19:30

Joey Legato heads up

19:32

the second page at thirty five to

19:34

one, Ty Gibbs at forty

19:36

to one, Ryan Blaney who won

19:39

the first roval. If we'll remember at Charlotte,

19:41

who is very comfortable in these courses forty

19:43

five to one, Chase Briscoe

19:45

at sixty, Kevin Harvick

19:48

at sixty five to one, along

19:50

with Brad Keselowski and Alex Bowman.

19:52

You're got Kobayashi is seventy.

19:54

To one, and then we've got Haley and Button

19:56

at one hundred, Gilliland, Eric Jones,

19:59

Austin Dillon one fifty, Bubba Wallace,

20:01

who we know he hates road courses at two hundred

20:03

Almorole was at two fifty and Prise at three hundred

20:06

some crazy numbers.

20:07

Hates road courses finished fifth in this race last year.

20:09

I may not like Bubba for that, but I might like Bubba

20:11

maybe on that top three bet. But right there,

20:14

you know, Harvick's there for a reason. But Austin

20:16

Cindric was on the top of the other page. He

20:18

finished second in this race last year. You

20:21

got, You got Joey Logano thirty five

20:23

to one. Who on road courses is your

20:26

best point getter in the last ten races,

20:28

not as many top tens, but best point getter as

20:31

Chris Buscher. You got Blaney, who's done

20:34

stuff. You got Brisco's a road racer, Brisco

20:36

who you know could have won this race

20:38

a couple of years ago. I just I'm looking at this going

20:40

wow. And maybe

20:43

Kobeyashi not for win, but I would

20:45

love to see his top three number fees all the way down there.

20:48

Well, do you want to get into the top threes.

20:49

Let's get into the top threes then, because we are certainly

20:52

have some pretty interesting interesting

20:54

numbers here too. Martin trickx Junior plus

20:56

one ten, Tyler Redick one fifty, Ben

20:59

Gisbergen us two hundred, Chase Elliott

21:01

to ten, Kyle Busch two seventy five, Larson

21:04

and Bell three hundred, Almondinger four fifty,

21:07

Suarez five hundred, along with Costecki,

21:09

Hamlin at five point fifty, along with Busher,

21:11

Byron at six hundred, along with Chastain, McDowell

21:14

and Sindric are seven hundred.

21:16

Cindric seven hundred, Almondinger

21:19

for fifty, Boucher five to fifty. The LISTA

21:22

there's too many to even talk about.

21:23

And that's the thing.

21:24

I mean, there's a lot of guys here that I'm sitting

21:26

here thinking, well, I would really like to pick that guy, but

21:29

they can't all finish in the top three.

21:31

Yeah, but I could get two or three of them well.

21:33

And we also certainly know that this if you get a late

21:35

restart with how crazy it gets

21:38

Indianapolis. Although Elton Sawyer made a comment

21:40

today they could go to single file

21:42

restarts if the guys, if.

21:44

They become can't handle the idiots.

21:46

But I mean, isn't that kind of what we

21:48

expect to happen.

21:49

Can It's kind of what we had happened last year with

21:51

Ross Chastain and the whole stopping.

21:54

All right, let's take a look at our second page, real quick, Joey

21:56

Logano's plus nine hundred, Ty Gibbs is eleven,

21:58

Ryan Blaney twelve, Brisco fifteen,

22:01

Harvick, Keselowski, Bowman sixteen,

22:03

Kobeyoshi eighteen, Haley and Button

22:05

twenty five, Gillilan Jones and Dylan

22:08

at forty, Bubba at fifty, Almorrole

22:10

at sixty, Priests at sixty five.

22:13

Bubba at fifty, who finished really well here

22:15

last year and is getting better on the road races.

22:17

If you look at his recent history, Bubba's

22:20

done a whole lot better. And

22:22

Kobyashi eighteen, guys,

22:24

I don't think you're getting enough love to these

22:26

two guys. I think that's.

22:29

You know, I think sometimes we worry about these teams when it comes

22:32

to pitt stops, but pitstops can be inconsequential

22:35

here.

22:35

Really, if you can get a good Kobyashi has they

22:37

got amazing teams right there? I mean you have twenty three elevens

22:39

making mistakes, but still amazing teams.

22:41

All right, we come back on Gone Racing head to head

22:43

matchups. We'll start talking about our group's

22:46

frandy.

23:04

23:37

know, Brendan, you would think after having read that promo

23:39

for four years, I would remember I needed to do it until

23:41

three seconds before we both do I needed to read.

23:43

You know how. I know you weren't ready for it because it

23:45

wasn't even anywhere near me glasses

23:47

and I can't read.

23:48

With my glasses on, so see I normally prepare

23:50

myself by getting my glasses off.

23:52

But nice catch night. Hey do

23:55

we have like a is there a gold flag

23:57

or a gold star?

23:58

I don't know, but it just it's just a another example

24:00

of professionally unprofessional.

24:03

I think I get moved into second in the standings. Now I

24:05

get Jeff, So you get.

24:06

Not after the week I had last week, boy, I

24:08

can't wait to beat my chest about.

24:11

I still had a decent week, and I'm not. I don't want to talk about

24:13

last week after what you did.

24:15

Finally, it's about time, all right, let's take a look

24:17

at our head to head deals

24:19

here. Well, if you don't like Martin Trix

24:21

Junior, Tyler Reddick's going to give you a plus one thirty

24:23

and Chase Elliot's going to give you a plus one fifty.

24:26

I don't dislike the Chase Elliott number there. I mean

24:29

you look at Treu's average finish eighteen

24:31

and the two races Chase Elliott average finished at ten. You

24:33

know that's a that's a big number one.

24:36

And I remember I told you every week I'm making a Chase Elliott

24:38

bet. I think I found my Chase Elliot bet.

24:40

And Chase Elliott also plus one thirty against

24:42

Tyler Reddick. I think I might like that

24:44

one a little bit better, to be I

24:46

hate betting against Martin Trix Junior.

24:48

I hate betting against Reddick at this place.

24:50

Well, My problem is, Reddick,

24:52

it just seems like something just goes wrong every

24:54

week.

24:54

I mean in the pits last week at Michigan.

24:56

It just I don't know. That team just seems to

24:58

me to be a little bit snaked.

25:00

How about Dinger one ten though over with Christopher

25:02

Bell one thirty.

25:03

And a one ten against Kyle Busch. And

25:06

another one that I'm kind of

25:08

scratching my head about a little bit, Brad Keselowski's

25:11

getting a plus one fifteen against Alex Bowman's

25:13

minus one thirty five. I just

25:15

think Bowman's team is I'm

25:18

not sure that that team just.

25:20

Bowman two races average finish of twenty six and

25:22

a half, Brad in the two races,

25:24

average finish of twenty two, so close

25:27

in these two races.

25:28

Okay, but I think we will agree that

25:30

the where RFK is right now

25:33

where RFK was a year ago or a.

25:35

Big different day, big difference. So

25:37

I kind of like that one a little bit. But we'll

25:41

see, Okay, anything else you want

25:43

to talk about on and Chris Buscher. You're

25:45

getting of a plus one ten love, you know with Kyle

25:47

Busch. I mean that's a tough one with Kyle Busch, but you

25:49

know, still Chris Buscher on the road courses.

25:51

And Kyle Busch is another team that struggled a little

25:53

bit here lately. You know, they're not exactly you

25:56

know, preparing for the playoffs on a on a hot streak.

25:58

But they got three races I guess to get it back. So

26:00

all right, let's take a look at our group matchups. Here

26:03

the Group A Martin Trix Junior

26:05

heavy favorite here at plus two ten, Tyler Reddick

26:07

two forty five, Chase.

26:09

Elliott still standing in Group A.

26:11

I mean a guy not in the top twenty in points

26:13

getting in Group A at plus two ninety.

26:15

Kyle Larson a real long shot plus

26:18

three seventy.

26:19

I'm sorry, but a Group A at

26:21

three seventy

26:25

won two of the last ten road courses overall.

26:28

I they're enticing me

26:30

there, it's enticing. I tell

26:32

you. The betting against Martin

26:34

TRICKX Junior, which you guys should have learned

26:36

a lesson last week. Look, look he

26:38

has one week. Yeah, he has one week that he's

26:41

like, look.

26:41

At me now, TRUEX finished.

26:43

Hammon was third. Hammon was like a second

26:45

behind.

26:46

Where exactly where did he finish compared.

26:48

To trueex behind you one.

26:51

We were close. Cash and tickets, Baby, cash

26:53

and tickets. Okay, just three

26:55

seventy is massive. It is massive.

26:57

I agree, it's just hard to bet against truex all

27:00

I'm saying, all right, let's take a look at our group

27:02

B. Kyle Busch is a favorite plus

27:04

two thirty, then Christopher Bell at plus two

27:06

forty, aj Allmendinger plus

27:08

three hundred, and Chris Buscher jumped all

27:11

the way up to group B at

27:13

plus three thirty five.

27:14

We said it last week that they're going to start

27:16

putting Buscher in group B and C, and

27:18

they did, and they put him against Dinger

27:21

and Kyle Busch. It's like, dang

27:23

it, what congratulations?

27:25

Chris Buscher should be in order. But this is

27:27

the group I can't pick.

27:28

It's just but tell to me

27:30

a plus three hundred from aj

27:33

Almondinger.

27:34

No, I mean first off, but I can get him in a top three

27:36

at fricking four fifty. But look at

27:38

those four names, which one

27:41

is desperate.

27:41

For the win, oh the Dinger. The other

27:43

three are in the playoffs.

27:45

Chris Chris Rell is too.

27:46

They all got wins. I mean Busher and Bush, you got

27:49

multiple wins.

27:50

Buscher and Busch. Boy, that was a mouthful

27:52

bush. I just love Almondinger

27:54

here at plus three hundred.

27:55

I just I think maybe because because

27:58

the number is so big that that Alman

28:00

Dinger.

28:00

Who, Boy, that one's hard to let go.

28:03

All right, let's move on to Group C.

28:06

I know my excitement over all mcdinger

28:08

is not as big as yours.

28:10

All right.

28:10

In Group C, we got whoa favorites

28:12

here, Michael McDowell and Shane Van Gisbergen

28:15

at plus two fifty, Daniel Suarez

28:17

at plus two seventy, and speaking of

28:19

big numbers, enticing plus

28:22

three twenty five for Ross Chastain.

28:25

Yeah, that's an impressive one for Ross Chastain,

28:27

who not terrible road racer. He's

28:31

kind of disappeared again, right, He's kind of faded

28:34

into where did he go? Area again?

28:36

But Fan gisberg

28:39

And at two fifty that's better than his top three number, you

28:41

know what I mean. So, and he's Group

28:43

C. I'm

28:46

I'm I kind of like that. I like,

28:48

you know, the guy that I'm

28:50

I'm perplexed on is Michael McDowell.

28:52

Now, McDowell's a good road racer.

28:55

He just dropped out of the top sixteen

28:57

last week now only by three points behind Ty

28:59

Gibbs.

29:00

But I just don't know what to make

29:02

a McDowell.

29:03

It seems like here the last few weeks, when he really

29:05

needed to be making a charge, he hasn't.

29:08

But he's he also in his mind

29:10

had to be thinking about these last three races

29:13

because probably his most successful

29:15

tracks are road courses and what we used

29:17

to call restrictor plate tracks, so maybe

29:19

that's where his focus has been. I'm just I'm

29:22

not sure that one. That was a little

29:24

perplexing to me. So not sure where to go in that

29:26

group. I like Ben Gizbergen. We'll

29:28

see what happens, all right. Group

29:30

D William Byron, huge

29:33

favorite, plus one sixty. Denny

29:36

Hamlin plus two sixty. Brody

29:38

Costecki, who's he driving for Richard

29:41

for Childress?

29:42

Yeah? Okay, so Brodie.

29:43

Costeki's plus three sixty five

29:45

and he ready for this folks. Joey Lgano

29:48

is plus four hundred.

29:52

Now, I'm sure you're gonna throw.

29:53

Me a stat and say why he is plus four

29:55

No, I can't tell you a stat why he's plus

29:57

four hundred. He was He finished sixth here

30:00

in the in the race last year. He's

30:02

the number one point getter in the last ten

30:04

races on road courses in general.

30:08

This season alone, his road race finishes

30:10

are third, eighth and then a twenty

30:14

eighth at Austin where he got into that melee near the end.

30:16

Had had a poll last year at the At

30:18

the I have nothing

30:20

for why Joey Logano is four hundred. The

30:23

only fear I have there is

30:26

that Brodie Kostecki in an RCR car

30:28

is in the Vaight Supercars.

30:30

Man those guys I bragged about him last time. That's

30:33

a that's a pretty stout number for Kostecki.

30:36

But Joey Legano, I have zero stat

30:38

why they have him at plus four hundred.

30:41

That is enticement right.

30:42

There, no kidding, And honestly,

30:44

I think Denny at plus two sixty being

30:46

all the way down in group D is also something

30:48

certainly worth looking at. I don't quite

30:50

get the William Byron Love here at plus one sixty.

30:53

I don't think he has been nearly I mean

30:55

he looked he hadn't been that good over the last couple of months

30:57

of the season, regardless, road courses

30:59

have been his huge strength.

31:01

I mean he's had some good runs. Don't get me wrong,

31:03

average finished a thirty second at this track.

31:05

But if you remember he was he got that deal with

31:07

Chase Briscoe at the end of this race where they were the ones

31:09

that beat and banged on each other at

31:12

the finish. But even on regular road

31:14

courses, only two top tens last ten races. So I

31:16

don't know why he's a plus one sixty except for what

31:18

have you done for me lately? You know where he was

31:20

one of the hottest guys in the sport that

31:23

Brodi Kosteki enjoy the gone. I really like those two

31:25

down there at the bottom. All right, let's take a look

31:27

at group E. This is one of our

31:30

throw a blanket over everybody groups here,

31:32

Alex Bowman, Kevin Harvick, Brad Keselowski

31:34

all at plus two seventy and Chase

31:36

brisco at plus two to seventy five. Yeah,

31:39

this is the one that I gonna have to look

31:41

at and go One, they've given no enticement.

31:43

Two. I can give you stats on each one

31:45

of these. Why they're all going to run in that same If

31:47

I went through and looked up their average finish, I bet you

31:49

they're all the four positions of each other on

31:52

an average finish in the last ten races on road courses.

31:54

And this group right here brat

31:57

Kevin Harvick only because he's the most consistent,

32:00

but Brad Kazlowski because they're the hottest team.

32:03

I can't give you anything.

32:04

I mean, I think if I had to lean anywhere, I

32:06

would lean Kazlowski on this group

32:08

only because I think they've been probably the most consistent

32:11

team lately out of this group here. But I'm kind

32:13

of with you. I guess that's that goes back to there's

32:15

a reason that you can throw a blanket

32:17

over all of them and the odds are so close. Well, then our

32:19

final group Group F is very similar

32:22

to that. Eric Jones is the favorite at plus two sixty,

32:24

and then you have Austin Dillon, Todd Gillen,

32:26

and Ryan Prees all at plus two seventy

32:28

five.

32:30

You know, I

32:32

made fun last week of Austin Cindric being

32:34

in the in group F.

32:36

Oh h, Harrison Burton.

32:38

And Harrison Burton. I said, both of them, the two Penske cars,

32:41

and what did they do last week? Austin Cindric had a top

32:43

ten, you know, and Burton won the group

32:45

didn't it and Burton won the group position.

32:47

Yeah, Harrison Burton won. So it was one of those

32:49

things where you know, they they they

32:52

showed up from group from group F. This

32:55

group right here. Eric Jones has

32:57

probably been running that that

32:59

that Legacy team has been running better

33:01

lately, Jeff, I'm not going to say they've been running

33:04

great, but they've been running better.

33:07

Austin has been better on

33:10

the road courses in the last little bit, but

33:12

this has not been one of his better ones. Thirty

33:14

average finish at thirty point five. Gilligan's

33:17

kind of a you know, he's just kind of

33:19

right there. Don't really talk about him much except

33:21

for that he just signed extension. That's the only thing you've heard from him.

33:24

I'd have to go Eric Jones the favorite.

33:27

Yeah, I think this is kind of a tough group for me even

33:29

to pick, But you know you talked about I

33:31

guess if I had to go somewhere, I would probably be leaning

33:33

a little bit toward Todd Gilliwan on this one,

33:35

but I also think Austin Dylon wouldn't

33:38

necessarily surprise me. So anyway, throw a blanket

33:40

over that group, just like on Group B.

33:42

Okay, I'll be back on Gone Racing. We'll give you the manufacturer

33:44

props, tell you how we did last week, We'll

33:46

give you our picks.

34:11

This is Gone Racing, FISA's

34:13

premier NASCAR Beny Podcast. You're

34:16

your hosts former NASCAR driver Brendan

34:18

Gone and Las Vegas Motor Speedways

34:20

Jeff Motley.

34:21

Now we're back for.

34:22

Our final segment of Gone Racing this week,

34:24

breaking down everything at the road course

34:26

at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, one of.

34:28

Them, what might be the last, could be the

34:30

last one.

34:30

There's some murmurs about going back to the Big the

34:33

Big track next year.

34:34

So in fact, they're doing a test tomorrow or one

34:36

day on the Big track.

34:37

On the Big Track. Some inside

34:40

or information. Well, you know, we was already posted.

34:42

You know, we've seen the we've seen the

34:44

new car be so good at least

34:47

type down for I mean, it's been good at Pocono, it's

34:49

been good on the mile and a half tracks, so I

34:51

think, and we saw it was good at Michigan last week.

34:53

India is India, I mean it's it's Indian road

34:55

course is great.

34:56

But well, and considering there's a very

34:58

good possibility that there's a new road

35:00

course coming on the circuit next year as well,

35:02

so it'll still be the same number of road course races

35:05

on the schedule next year, but that we'll

35:07

get to that winner as an official announcement on that. We're

35:09

not trying to break too much news here on

35:11

the show. So anyway, our last,

35:14

our last bet we've got this week is the manufacturer

35:16

prop Chevy's a favorite at plus

35:19

one twenty because they got more cars out there, Toyota

35:21

is at plus one forty because they got some really good

35:23

cars out there, and Ford is plus

35:25

three thirty.

35:26

Winner of the last two races for you win.

35:28

Are the last two races coming in at plus three

35:30

thirty. Although I think, I mean,

35:32

look, we both picked Forward to win last week

35:34

because of their dominance because of Michigan.

35:36

At Michigan road.

35:38

Courses kind of can sometimes throw out

35:40

the whole horsepower thing.

35:41

But I'm just not so sure the Fords.

35:43

Have the best drivers when

35:45

it comes to road course race.

35:47

I can't name one in their camp that you're going to say,

35:50

Oh, that guy, Austin Cindrick got a ton of experience,

35:52

Chase Briscoe has experienced, Busher has been good,

35:54

Busher's been great, but none of

35:56

them make me say, oh, look, col Ers and Chase Latin

36:00

top three to you got to win the race here, So

36:02

I think that that's that's right numbers, and

36:05

it's it's a tough one to pick on that Chevy and Toyota

36:07

this week. All right.

36:09

I'm kind of with you there. I think that's a tough one to

36:11

go with. And I don't really like the numbers

36:14

on Chevy or Toyota.

36:15

Sope. I'm just kind of staying away from that one this week.

36:17

Little paltry this week. All right.

36:18

So with three races to go, we can

36:21

take a quick look at our odds

36:24

for the championship here truex, no big

36:26

surprise is there at the top.

36:28

We're still twenty to one on Christ

36:31

That's where my eyes immediately went.

36:33

The guys won the last two races. Nobody

36:35

is a believer yet you're not a boocher believer.

36:38

And he is twenty to one still, I think

36:40

that's the biggest one. And Chase Elliott,

36:42

finally he's been fifteen to one, fourteen to one,

36:44

hanging finally twenty two to one.

36:47

I know he's outside, but I still

36:49

think that's worth you know, if

36:51

he gets back in he's gonna be off

36:54

points even if he gets in. You always

36:56

knocked that, but I think it's a it's a good shot there.

36:58

Well, you're right if you can win one of the three races

37:01

when you get into the playoffs and the points don't matter,

37:03

so it does move you along.

37:04

I don't disagree with you there.

37:05

I'm kind of with you on the on the Busher things, and

37:08

it needs to be pointed out to Chris

37:11

Busher, though did not win any of these races

37:13

because of fuel mileage or the

37:15

race of fog, or the race

37:17

got stopped short of the distance

37:19

for rain or anything else. I mean he

37:21

went out at Richmond and kicked everybody's butt, and

37:24

at Michigan I would argue he might have been

37:26

the second best car the way.

37:28

He held duel the end with Martin Truax

37:30

to Martin Truex with not

37:32

dueled with somebody that was fuel Miley. He

37:34

dueled with some of the best and toe to toe with champions

37:37

of the sport and went, I'm here to play,

37:39

get out of my way. Let me ask you a quick question about

37:42

the battle he had with true X. As a race

37:44

car driver.

37:45

I think that I

37:47

would look out there and say they're two guys.

37:49

Martin TRICKX Junior and Kyle Busch

37:52

are the two guys who do

37:55

not touch anybody to pass

37:57

them. No, they race hard. They raced hard,

38:00

but they will race you clean. Does

38:02

that make it different? Like if you're Busher

38:04

and you've got Chastain behind you,

38:07

you or Denny Hamlin?

38:08

Are you looking at that different words?

38:10

With true it? You say you know what I know if

38:12

I hold my line, what guy wants? What you know about

38:14

trust? Or Kyle is if I didn't move

38:16

him, he won't move me. If

38:18

I moved him, he'll move me.

38:21

So you absolutely treat it differently. You

38:23

always treat it's a little easier if you're leading, right,

38:26

I'm not going to say ease trust the guy though you say

38:28

it's a respect level. There's there's a respect.

38:30

I wouldn't call it easier, but there's a respect. And Busher

38:32

has never been a guy to go when Russell up

38:35

either. So I just point,

38:37

let's gloss over last week's results.

38:39

No, let's not. In fact, this could be the

38:41

longest segment of the show. We might just blow

38:43

off our picks this week because I want to revel.

38:46

In my he Sai zero point seventy five,

38:48

and not because I got one guy at

38:50

fourteen to one.

38:51

I want to point out I got four out of

38:53

my five picks, and I got beat by Harrison

38:56

Burton and the one that I lost.

38:57

Yeah, and I got beat by Harrison Burton and Group

39:00

BE also because I had priests by like

39:02

two five positions.

39:03

The funny thing is with the group f W. Brendan did

39:06

not pick mcdoub because he didn't want to.

39:07

I didn't want to ja.

39:09

I was already to buy them all flowers and everything, nice

39:11

breakfast and sneak in.

39:13

Well, it's a good thing you didn't pick. Now you've lost it anyway,

39:15

I guess, so okay, just.

39:16

To pick Crew a good week, though you got to get the Pick Crew some love Pit

39:18

Crew did.

39:19

Pickrew had a good week. Picker got winners with Harvick

39:21

and Group A and Chastain in Group C. You

39:24

and I got winners with Ford even though

39:26

I know you don't really want to ever get

39:28

them four butt.

39:29

But you put your money where you're left.

39:31

Because I said the Fords at Michigan. That was the It was hard

39:33

for I kept hedging, I kept talking out of both sides

39:35

of my mouth going. The Ford suck at these tracks this year,

39:37

but this is Michigan and so I at least

39:39

covered my bases well.

39:40

And I was able to also get Group B along with the pit crew

39:43

there with Harvick. I'm really excited

39:45

that I got a group with Brad Keselowski

39:48

and the pit crew didn't even pick break.

39:49

We both have made more off Brad and the pit crew won't.

39:51

They don't let Wyatt pick them.

39:53

And maybe the one I'm most proud of is that

39:55

I went head to head with both of you guys

39:57

in Group A. You guys, Doe Hamlin,

40:00

thank you, Martin Jr.

40:02

Second son Hamlin stalled this car on pit

40:04

road.

40:04

Second to what else is new? Danny makes more

40:06

mistakes on That was funny.

40:08

As I was watching the end of the race, I was rooting so

40:10

hard for Truex to finish second

40:13

because I knew I had forward to win the Manufacturer,

40:16

so I wanted Buscher to win that one. But Buscher

40:18

and Truex were not in the same group, so

40:21

I knew I was guaranteed two wins, which you gotta

40:23

win out of that.

40:24

Keeps this up. He's going to be a head to head in

40:26

that group as soon.

40:27

Let me tell you, I was looking my chops when Daniel Suarez

40:29

was up in the front, so close yet again,

40:32

oh good.

40:33

Worse the first so somebody's still worst, that's

40:35

true.

40:35

And boy they lost even though you know what,

40:37

they had a good week and they still lost nine points.

40:40

Nobly one, no, but they lost nine points

40:43

on me just saying.

40:45

God, I know, you know what.

40:47

Let's see what happens in two weeks. I think we're gonna be close

40:49

together, all right. So, as

40:52

Brendan said, we're gonna be bet Chase Elliott

40:54

to do something this week. We like him to win plus

40:56

seven fifty. We like Shane van Geisbergen

40:59

to wing Groups D plus two fifty, like

41:01

that number on Joey Logano to win Group D at plus

41:03

four hundred. You guys keep talking smack

41:06

to me about not picking Brad keas lastka. I'm going with him

41:08

to win Group E at plus two seventy and Todd Gillen

41:10

to win Group FT plus two seventy five.

41:13

See, I wasn't ready to go pick Todd Gillen,

41:15

but I like Todd gilling that group pit crew.

41:17

Listen to you, okay, all right, that's good. I

41:19

think well, I know who we've given the kiss

41:21

of death to already, Shane.

41:24

No, no, but you'll see.

41:25

You probably well trust me when

41:27

I make my picks, you'll see, Okay.

41:30

I am going Denny Hamlin for a top three

41:32

plus five point fifty to get

41:34

a top three on Denny Hamlin. I'm gonna pick a

41:36

couple of head to heads. Not big

41:39

returns here, but I feel good about these guys.

41:41

I just can't let Chris bush Er

41:44

not get picked somehow someway this week, So I'm

41:46

going Chris bush Or head to head against Kyle Busch.

41:48

I'm also going Brad Kazlowski head

41:50

to head against Alex Bowman, and

41:53

then my other picks will be in the group matchups.

41:55

I'm going into Group B and I'm gonna take

41:58

aj Allmendinger. I believe in the this

42:00

week. And yes, not

42:02

that I'm foreshadowing who your picks are because

42:05

I don't want to give him away even though I have a list of them.

42:07

But yes, I'm going Joey Logano

42:09

with that plus four hundred in Group D.

42:11

I may have to make an audible because I can't

42:13

give that JINX.

42:14

When the Joey Logano pick was by Karina. You can't

42:16

give Karina the jinks.

42:19

Na's pretty stout, but still

42:21

all three of us a little tough, all right,

42:23

So I'm sticking with the Dinger love. I got Dinger for

42:25

the top three, though he's plus four fifty. I

42:27

think that's way too overpriced for him as a top

42:29

three. I want him to win, but I'm going to be a little

42:31

more conservative. Take the top fifty. That

42:33

plus one fifty number on Chase Elliott against Martin

42:35

Turex, that's too big for me. I'm sorry. That's

42:38

just that's a massive head to head number, and

42:40

I'm picking Chase Elliot. Ever you have believed in

42:42

Chase, fine, I'm going THEREA is plus one fifty.

42:44

There's my bet friend this week. I'm

42:47

going into group A, and that's kind of a

42:49

hedge, honestly, if you really think of it. I got Kyle

42:51

Larson at plus three seventy. You're telling me Kyle

42:53

Larson on road courses is plus three seventy

42:55

in a group. I'm sorry, i gotta take that. Then

42:58

I'm going Shane Van Giesberg and also the

43:01

one for you the last time, and the group he's got

43:03

right there is just too I

43:05

think that's too undervalued for where he's at.

43:07

And then I currently

43:10

have Joey Logano in Group D. I

43:12

could go Brett Brody Castecki because

43:15

he is in an RCR car. I was talking to those

43:17

guys this week. I do know what they have Joey

43:21

gonna four hundred and

43:23

there we go.

43:25

This this will be the week we we finally get

43:27

one toget we get we.

43:27

We all get a three A three, a three pack pick.

43:30

We want to make it. We can break the curse here with Joygano

43:33

Brody. Brody wins this thing. I'm gonna be so pissed

43:35

everybody. Do you want to just send Joey a text

43:37

right now and say sorry buddy. Nope,

43:42

because it was Karina and Karina

43:44

is a better picker than the picker.

43:47

You know, I like to give you know, when people want their picks,

43:49

I want to give them the praise, Like when Isaiah

43:51

told me to pick Justin Haleyott Richmond to win his

43:53

group and Haley finished about twenty laps down.

43:56

You know, hey, wow.

43:58

You know I love I love I love

44:00

the fact he can attack Isaiah because

44:02

Isaiah is sitting there listening to the show

44:04

right now.

44:04

He's downstairs and that's Isaiah.

44:07

Isaiah can't talk, well, he can, but he chooses

44:09

not to and chooses not to be on camera, so he's

44:11

he's like yelling at mate.

44:12

He could yell.

44:13

That's okay, time he can. He could

44:15

talk if he wanted.

44:16

We got about twenty seconds left. Excited. Another

44:18

road course, racing courses.

44:20

I love the road course. The only think it could be better is if you get

44:22

a little rain, right. You love the spring

44:24

downboards, sprinkle.

44:26

Okay, all right, that's a wrap for us

44:28

for this week. We're really excited about this week going

44:30

to the road course at Indy, follow that up another

44:33

road course of Watkins Glen and then the regular season is

44:35

going to end a Daytona. We'll be here to break it

44:37

all down for you
