As Mothers, the way we raise our children will impact the world. God has given us what we need to be good mothers to our children. We are obligated to speak the truth to our children about us, life, and the world we live in. When we are truthful with our children when we open up and tell our children about us who we truly are, what we’ve learned from our mistakes, and how God’s grace has kept us from spiraling out of control. We become our children’s mentors because they hear from us about what God has helped us overcome and see the fruit. We raise our children in a place where they know they can come to us and talk to us about everything and anything along with asking us questions about things they may be hearing in school or in their friend group. By doing this we are building our children’s character and seasoning them for success in life not just physically but spiritually and mentally.
