Lent: Empty and Filled

Lent is an ancient church tradition that has a bad reputation for being that time when we give up something or go through a few rituals and pretty much suffer. That is not the design behind lent. The idea is to empty ourselves of things that distract us from what we want to be filled with. This series will ask us to look in the mirror and see what needs to go and what do I want God to fill me with.

Worshipping-

The Old Testament system had a rinse and repeat effect to it. As if you knew it was flawed from the start. Maybe this season you have not kept a discipline. I wonder if that means we have a deeper need for Jesus’ help than we thought. Heb 10:1-12
