This talk is a ripper. Priyani openly and very honestly shared her experience of growing up with racism and how she build - despite all the challenges - a highly successful career in a very male dominated field. Priyani is an engineer, mentor and true role model!

As a woman of colour in Australia, she battled with depression growing up - now she is in a leadership position trying to positively influence and support young woman.

We talked about the importance of mentors and the critical role teachers play, as well as about the urgency of intersectionality and how we have to become aware of our own biases!
