[Producer’s note: This podcast was originally published in 2016. It’s a good one though, so we’re re-airing it. Thanks, as always, for listening.]

Today on the show, Michael Mitchell — a dad I’ll long remember as a sage of sorts. He’s the man behind the “Life to Her Years” blog and the author of Life Lessons For Dad - Tea Parties, Tutus and All Things Pink.

I first came across Michael when my oldest daughter was a toddler…and his words connected with me so much. I remember how much perspective his short but powerful bursts of tear-inducing realizations gave me — ones like “Savor every moment you have together. Today she might be crawling around the house in diapers, tomorrow you’re handing her the keys to the car, and before you know it, you’re walking her down the aisle.”
