Beating ourselves up for falling short of the unattainable perfection we dream of doesn’t actually work. My friend, please know that you are not alone if you regularly struggle with some version of the thought, “I’m not good enough.” But that voice is not the real you, it’s your primal brain.
Today's episode is about the importance of being kinder to ourselves. We delve into why this is so important, how to do it, and the ways it can positively impact our lives, personally and professionally. Learn how actively practicing deep self-compassion enhances our own well-being as well as our relationships with others.
We also analyze the role of external factors, such as social media and cultural expectations in self-criticism and comparison, and I share my top three tips on being kinder to ourselves.
