a game should not waste the pages with the cliched "what is a role-playing game." it should get to the point and get you playing. it should talk to you, not at you.

additionally, we clarify the issues we have with casual games. it is not just a silly hatred, but a fundamental view of games needing to be better.

to further illustrate this point we shift to d&d and discuss the tired belief that we should take that game into account.
