Jerry Granelli is a jazz icon, pioneer, and bonafide legend. You probably know him best as the drummer on the best selling holiday album of all time, A Charlie Brown Christmas, but Granelli has been a major force in the jazz community and beyond since the 1960s. Last winter, we sat down for a long chat about his new album, Dance Hall, his legacy, the foundation of the Halifax Jazz Festival, the importance of education and inspiring young musicians, and so much more.
