In addition to the podcast, I’ve also interviewed people that I know who have had first hand experience of how authorities in other countries have handled the pandemic.
TRIGGER WARNING: Some parts of this interview may be distressing for some listeners.
Aiona Luaton currently lives in Spain, which is arguably one of the most hit countries in Europe. We talked about how she's been dealing with the pandemic there and her thoughts on the unsuccessful Britain-Spain travel bubble that saw a spike in cases in the UK.
Mark Beltran i's a dual citizen who was caught up in the middle of the pandemic while he was still in the US. Because of his studies, he had to come back to the Philippines, and in the process, contracted the virus during his flight. He shared to me his harrowing experience as well as his thoughts on how the aviation sector might recover.
