Tanya Beardsley is one of the shining stars of the Zumba Fitness movement that is sweeping the globe. Warm, down to earth and charismatic, she inspires thousands of dance and fitness enthusiasts to punch the sky and reach for their dreams! Trained as a professional ballroom dancer, she was drawn to this Latin inspired dance fitness program from her very first class in 2001. She is now an International Zumba Educational Specialist traveling the world, providing trainings and spreading the word about Zumba , its goals and its mission. Tanya is a certified group fitness instructor with the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA) and the American Council on Exercise (ACE).She is the Co-Host of the 2008 Zumba  DVD series, a featured host in the 2011 DVD series, featured in the  Zumba Fitness video games as well as a major  Zumba activist in many areas.Tanya has appeared on nationally televised specials, including The Today Show, is featured in media all over the world as a leading fitness expert, and has served as a presenter for the IDEA Health & Fitness Association, the world’s largest association for fitness and wellness professionals. In 2011, Tanya was awarded Specialty Presenter of the Year by canfitpro.
