About Sara:

I have been an Air Force Reserve spouse for almost 10 years and have had the honor of supporting my husband and his squadron through 4 deployments so far. We have 2 wonderful children a 6 year old son and a very spirited 2 year old daughter. I serve as Wing Key Spouse Mentor, Reserve Spouse Mentor with MSAN and my son's Cub Scout leader on top of being a mom and wife.

• Reserve families are a gift to our military community.  They are the continuity we need and yet their families still face challenges of deployment, reintegration and needing support.

•  MMD Advice from Sara: Ask for help!  We all need different levels of support in each season.  Also, don't say “I’m just a military spouse”. You are valuable. Finally, ACCEPT the help.  We may be helpers, but helpers need to receive help too.
