Welcome to a bee series I like to call “My terrible book review.” Where I talk about books I’ve read and share what I can remember from them.
you see, I’m terrible at retell. No matter what it is, I just can’t seem to remember things the way I “consume” them. That’s why I can confidently say this book review is terrible.
Nonetheless, I will still share general topics from the book and give you a broad idea as to what the book is about.
So yea, welcome to the first of what I hope to be quite a few “terrible” book reviews.
This first book is called the subtle art of not giving a f*ck and o thoroughly enjoyed it. Mark, the author, does a great job of pointing out how so many of us get so caught up in our own lives, plugging away trying to achieve this “greatness” that really doesn’t even exist.
he says we’ve forgotten what it’s like to have “normal” lives and that it’s perfectly acceptable to be average.
he says that so many of us are giving away too many “farts” (yes he uses the other 4-letter “F” word) and more importantly we’re not giving our farts to the things that really matter.
i felt like so much of what mark talked about was so true and so relevant. I’d absolutely recommend everyone give it a read!
