Beautiful artwork, quotes hanging in frames, messages on throw pillows, pictures of our family in meaningful moments, can be brought back to our minds years down the road when we need those reminders most.

One way Candace makes her family feel special and inspired using her home decor, is the way she celebrates birthdays.

Here are a few ideas for how we can make our family members feel special on their birthdays:

Streamers and balloons on their doorways when they wake up

Create a balloon avalanche

Write messages on their bathroom mirror with expo markers

Write them a birthday letter

Make them a special birthday meal or let them pick a place to go out

Fill balloons with little notes. Pop the balloons at the end of the day to read them.

Now here is the trick!! You don’t need to do alllll the things!! Just pick a few special ideas and really show up on those traditions. It’s all about building memories and traditions with our families to make them feel loved and connected.
