RATING
The best thing I can say about this show is that I consistently have to chuckel and laugh about the jokes in public. Any podcast that does this, does something right. Btw This is mostly an improv-comedy show, the riddles are just means to an end.
The first episode was hilarious, the three hosts seem to have a great amount of chemistry and, as a riddle fan myself, the subject matter is appealing to me even though the point of the podcast isn't always to properly solve the things. Absolutely worth a listen, even if you're not a riddle fan. Can't wait to hear more.
They really are overrated but I'm the one who overrates them. I gobble up this garbage all day. Is it my desire to improvise with them? Yes. Do I wish my friends were as insane as these three? Yes. Will I solve all the riddies? Probs not.
riddies and puzzies + three of the funniest people on the internet playing off of each other = a riddle podcast that’s way funnier than it has any right to be
Sometimes gets me laughing so much I can't do my job.
Riddles take a back seat to the laughs!
This podcast has 3 of my favorite things: riddles, improv, and hilarious hosts.
Love these guys! It took me a couple episodes to get into it, but now I'm all caught up and love it! Despite the name, there's not many riddies and puzzies per episode, but I'm here for the comedy/improv, which is always on. This is a really fun podcast. And if you're looking for a new improv/comedy listen, this is it!
This is the perfect podcast to listen to at work. Minus all the swearing, and the sex jokes.Maybe this has been the reason all my co-workers look at me funny.
Worst Riddle Podcast I've ever listened to.Amazing, 5/5 stars
I found this podcast late in 2020, and I must say, it was the one thing I absolutely needed to help get me through the tough final months of the year. It has quickly made its way to my absolute favorite podcast of all time, and I thank all three of these incredible hosts for bringing so much love and laughter into the world.
This may be one of my favorite podcasts of all time!
The sense of humor of Adal, Erin, and JPC mesh so well. It's a show so hilarious that it makes up for the fact that they rarely solve riddles. I have had to pause the podcast numerous times at work because my snorts of laughter were too disruptive. Also do not miss out on the great music by Arne Parrott. You can check it out independent of the show on SoundCloud.
the amount and length of commercials is really annoying, but the podcast itself is fun
I started listening to this podcast almost at the beginning; I discovered and started listening to it because it is the creation of Adal Rifai (who I knew as Chunt from Hello From the Magic Tavern), whose comedy I enjoy. I haven't been listening to this as much as I used (I'm not sure why, maybe I just listened too much and got a bit tired of it) but I still put it on sometimes when I'm looking for a bit of lighthearted listening!
Justin McElroy sent me here in 2018 and I've been trapped ever since, please help me, I still haven't recovered from JPC's raccoon story, or Adal's bleachers wipeout girl story, or Erin's dressing room story, why do they all have the worst stories, please send help, I'm scared, oh gods
This podcast has ruined my life.Six years ago, on recommendation by my second favourite McElroy brother, I started listening to these three dweebs fuck about and actively try to do the least amount of riddles possible and still be called a "riddle podcast." After listening to for a while it became very obvious that I guess just anyone can do improv, huh? So once I was able to leave my house again I looked up improv schools in my area (there was a single one) and signed up for an intro class. No one told me that I would get hooked!?! Since that class I have done countless more, performed in shows, joined multiple troupes, travelled to three improv festivals in a single year (including one international one), joined the committee that runs my improv school and become Chairperson(?!?), and made so many lifelong friends. My life will never be the same and I have you guys to thank. So thanks a lot! (Sincerely, from the bottom of my heart)xx L. A. Foale (they/them)P. S. If you are ever in Adelaide, Australia (maybe as part of your Amends to the Continent tour?) please hit me up
I came here purely for riddles but I stayed for the comedy Its been fun watching this riddle podcast that sometimes features improv devolve into a improv podcast that sometimes features riddles
A hilarious comedy show that is only partly solving riddles (it's unclear if the hosts even like riddles), and large part hilarious discussion and improv of alternate answers that would have been so much better. The chemistry between the hosts really makes it.If you enjoy improv and witty dialogue in the stylings of Wait Wait or Whose Line, this podcast is absolutely worth the add.
