Episode Ten of Hey You Made It is here! That means we now officially have more episodes than Star Wars! Eat it, George Lucas!
Today's episode features Jonathan Blake, host and creator of The Calm Comedy Hour at The Clubhouse in Los Angeles. Jonathan is a Christian turned Buddhist who focuses on using breathing as a way to connect with the audience and reflect on the inner self while performing. He focuses on using the idea of "you're enough" while performing in a room with people. Jonathan's journey from studying religion to performing comedy and using it as a tool to better the world around him and bringing people together using laughter made for one heck of a great interview. We talk about breathing, comedy, spirituality, religion, the concept of self and getting propositioned for sex in a Bible study group.
