Greg Pizzoli is the creator of the Baloney and Friends graphic novel series, as well as the author and illustrator of the award-winning picture books The Watermelon Seed, Good Night Owl, and The Book Hog. He also writes nonfiction for kids, including the New York Times Best Illustrated title Tricky Vic. His newest book, Mister Kitty is Lost, just came out this past January. Greg joins the show for a conversation about the performative nature of books, the concept of authorship with his work and the themes that his characters continue to encounter.
