There are some things about this version of motherhood that aren't at all like I had thought they would be. And the perception that the outside world has of me as a mom is one of them. To the outside world, I'm a helicopter mom. To me, I'm a helicopter mom. But I am also doing what is necessary for my littles. So here are some truths about my life as a helicopter mom, a few that you could guess, and a few that might surprise you too.
