Whether you're a casual hip hop fan who can’t name some of the wu-tang clan, a die-hard fan who can be found in the Reddit section of the death of Jam Master J playing a game of clue-do or someone who couldn’t name a hip hop track if they tried. Hip Hop Saved My Life is for you. Romesh Ranganathan and Rupert Majendie (whose presence on stage is often a gag in itself), talk comedically and passionately about the hip hop history of its guests with crude jokes and put-downs to follow. The shows most recent guest Allan ‘seapa’ Mustafa, better known as Grindr from the acclaimed mockumentary series ‘people just do nothing’ speaks about future projects, gratitude for his career, how Avengers isn’t really his thing because he has sex with women and the pillars of hip-hop which of course contains un-provoked violence. (listen to the episode, because out the context that joke may not be funny) The episode is a hilarious insight into ‘people just do nothing’, his first hip-hop track and his possible sexual awakening thanks to snoop dog. It’s a must listen to. I laughed 2 minutes along with the cast and I’m sure you will too. What a way to end the first season.
