You have exploded on to the scene leaving many excited, how long have you been involved in music and how did it all start?BL: Uhm if I remember correctly, I made my first track back in 2006-7. even before that, when I thought fruity loops was a computer game. Abroad they just appreciate music more and they are opened minded...meaning you can play whatever you feel, they'll appreciate it.There's certain gigs in SA where music is also appreciated. But I always give 110% energy when I'm performing. hk: There are endless combinations of equipment used in DJ booths today, what is your preferred way to perform and why?BL: Ahhh anything is fine for me. It's not the equipment that must do the job...hk: All artists have some records that just lift the mood and excite the dance floor, what records do you never leave home without?BL: Whooaaa lately I've been listening to Adriatique... they've got a lovely groove. So anything by these guyshk: If you were stranded on an island, what 5 things would you take with you?1 flare2 blanket 3 knife4 lighter5 ropehk: It’s always good to hear an interesting memory from a performance whether it humorous or outrageous, what is one memory that you can share with us?BL: CTEMF 2017, first time performing in Cape Town...only few people knew who I was haha But after I dropped 3-4 tracks, the energy was elevated and I bonded with the crowdhk: There are a lot things up and coming artists could learn from you, what is the top advice you would give to aspiring artists?BL: Focus on your journey.
