I introduce my special guest... Andrew Begley! I also go over a summary of todays show.

5:00

Main Topics: CJ McCollum asks Kevin Durant what he would average in an era (black and white picture), but we believe has not idea the context behind that era, or even what era he is discussing. The picture is from a 1920s high school basketball game. We discuss the adjustments KD would have to make if a 15 year old version of himself was thrown into that era of hoops. We discuss rules, the state of basketball at the time, and why CJ doing this (And players in general), add toxicity to basketball discussion.

26:30

Main Topics: The Denver Nuggets went for three with a wide open layup opportunity while only being down by 2 to the Wizards. Not only did they have an open layup, the play was a 3-1 initially, and ended up being a 4-1 with plenty of time to get the easy two to send the game into OT. Jamal Murray picked up his dribble early, and Porter Jr, Compazzo and Morris failed to fill the wide open lane. We discuss why this occurred, and why it is concerning.

53:50

Main Topics: The Thunder and Hawks played a game both wearing dark, and similar colors. Thunder in Orange, Hawks in red, it was hard to distinguish the two teams. We discuss why this is happening, why it is actually against the rules enacted in 2017, and how it can impact the game.

1:01:55

Mailbag: Pat Ram on Twitter asks who was the better in game dunker, Shawn Kemp or Dominique Wilkins

1:12:22

Mailbag: Harlequin asks: How should basketball purists look at this current era of superteams and offensive statistical inflation? It’s difficult for me to take much of it seriously and compare any of it legitimately to pre-2010 ball. Would love to hear your take.

Worst Twitter Takes of the Week: Rob McLamb on Twitter states

"There is no sport in the world that has seen as massive of a leap in athleticism and overall performance in the 21st century like pro basketball and the NBA. Guys in the NBA now are freakish compared to the 20th century. EuroLeague players now would dominate in 1980’s NBA."

I close the show... thanks for tuning in!
