In this episode Teresa and Kim are joined by Kamryn Schneider who shares her personal story of struggling with and subsequently overcoming an eating disorder.  Her story is harrowing and life-threatening but also heroic and incredibly beautiful.  Kamryn reveals how, as she worked towards health, she discovered the power of mindfulness, meditation, and breath work which eventually led to her becoming a registered yoga teacher.  Now as a teacher and wellness advocate, Kamryn shares her journey as a loving offering to those who may be facing their own struggles.

Kamryn Schneider is an incredible young woman who struggled with a life-threatening eating disorder for many years.  As she worked towards health, she discovered the power of mindfulness, meditation and breath work, eventually becoming a registered yoga teacher.  

Kamryn now teaches these powerful healing tools and shares her journey as a loving offering to those who may be facing their own struggles.

This year Kamryn has made it her goal to further her yoga education by attending the Forrest Yoga Foundation Teacher Training with Ana Forrest and Jose Calarco, hosted in Calgary this June.  This is a once in a lifetime experience to train underneath such educated and insightful teachers. This opportunity will allow her to dive deeper into her own healing and expand her knowledge as a teacher. This training will also provide her with profound healing techniques that she can give back to the world by sharing the practices in every one of her yoga classes.
