hank you for listening.

1:27

Hi, everyone. Welcome

1:28

to this week's episode. I'm really delighted to be with you. And as

1:30

this episode comes out, Venus is

1:35

entering Pisces, which I'm

1:35

feeling really great about and

1:39

excited about. Venus is exalted

1:39

in Pisces celebrated treated

1:43

like a queen. And I'm pretty

1:43

sure Venus is really ready to

1:47

have somewhere where she feels

1:47

good for a while. It's been a

1:51

minute since she did that. If

1:51

you go back to the previous solo

1:54

episode I did a couple weeks

1:54

ago, I talked a little more

1:57

extensively about the sun and

1:57

Venus moving into Pisces. And

2:01

last week, I had a really

2:01

beautiful conversation with

2:04

Yarrow magdelena, focusing on

2:04

finding the simple ways to

2:08

enchanter everyday life, move

2:08

through difficult emotions and

2:12

celebrate enough, which was just

2:12

such a needed message for me,

2:18

and all filtering through the

2:18

practice of ritual, which is the

2:22

focus of their book and a lot of

2:22

their work. I honestly cannot

2:27

believe we're moving into March

2:27

so soon, it's felt, I mean, I

2:30

sort of can, it feels like it's

2:30

been such a full year already in

2:33

two months, but moving so

2:33

quickly. However, I am

2:37

personally really looking

2:37

forward to getting moving out of

2:42

this Saturn Uranus square, which

2:42

has just been kind of dis

2:46

regulating, and a bit of an

2:46

asshole transit on my end. So

2:50

I'm excited to be moving out of that

2:52

it's made a lot of

2:53

my day to

2:53

day feel really difficult. We've

2:56

had some warm days where I live

2:56

lately. So I've been out in the

3:00

garden, talking to all of my

3:00

baby seeds and sprouts or every

3:04

inkling of a sprout that is even

3:04

thinking about growing, which is

3:09

just been felt really rewarding

3:09

and amazing. I've really missed

3:11

being in my garden. And I'm

3:11

really ready to get out there

3:14

and all of that back care and

3:14

attention. It's just our way

3:17

that really grounds me and I love

3:18

to spend my time.

3:21

As far as

3:21

announcements go, just be sure

3:23

to grab your prompts for the

3:23

full moon. They are links below

3:28

in the show notes. As always, if

3:28

you don't already get them and

3:32

when you do that, you will also

3:32

be on the list to get them for

3:35

March which I will send out on

3:35

the first so you'll find your

3:38

links below as well as any other

3:38

ways that you want to stay

3:41

connected or booking no more

3:41

information about how to book a

3:46

session. If you want to dive

3:46

into your own chart a little bit

3:49

more or receive more

3:49

personalized guidance based on

3:53

what's going on in your life.

3:53

Right now you can find all of

3:55

that in the notes as well as any

3:55

kind of external sources that I

3:59

mentioned during an episode. I

3:59

always try to include those at

4:02

the bottom, so be sure to check

4:02

them out if there's anything

4:04

that you want to double click or

4:04

do a little more research on.

4:08

Today, we're mostly going to

4:08

talk about the Virgo full moon

4:11

and do a brief recap around some

4:11

of the Saturn Uranus things that

4:17

I kind of feel popping up around

4:17

the globe. And next week we will

4:22

dive more into marches astrology

4:22

for the first couple of weeks,

4:26

including Mars changing signs

4:26

and going into Gemini, which is

4:29

happening on the third. Towards

4:29

the end of this episode, I'll

4:33

share a channeled message for

4:33

this lunation and its cycle and

4:37

where we are right now. And if

4:37

you're hearing this later, don't

4:41

worry we hear things when we

4:41

need to. It doesn't matter if

4:44

it's falling under the moment

4:44

when it initially came through.

4:48

And that being said, Please take

4:48

what is helpful, what isn't

4:51

inspiring and healing for you

4:51

and just sort through what

4:54

doesn't which is kind of a theme

4:54

for what's coming through right

4:59

now. Which makes sense for Virgo

4:59

just you know, digest what's

5:01

helpful discard what's not. And

5:01

I'm hope that we're all making

5:05

space to filter through what is

5:05

in alignment for us. And that

5:08

includes this information here.

5:08

I think I want to start by just

5:14

reviewing a little bit of some

5:14

of the the Saturn and Uranus

5:18

square events that have been

5:18

happening around the world,

5:22

because they're just less fun.

5:22

And then we can move into the

5:24

Virgo Full Moon, which feels a

5:24

little more fun. Speaking of

5:28

Uranus in Taurus, which we've

5:28

been talking about a lot lately,

5:32

I've really been that Uranus and

5:32

Taurus is going to be training

5:37

this full moon that's coming up.

5:37

And so it has been very much

5:40

thinking about finding freedom

5:40

in our earth or our bodies and

5:44

our material experience. And

5:44

I've been diving a lot more into

5:48

Dr. Vandana Shiva 's work

5:48

lately. I mentioned her on the

5:52

podcast a few weeks ago, and I

5:52

will post some videos of her in

5:56

conversation below if you'd like

5:56

to follow up or learn more about

6:00

her work. She has a book that

6:00

came out recently called oneness

6:03

versus the 1%, which I have

6:03

strongly recommend. But thinking

6:07

of this Uranus Taurus transiting

6:07

through Taurus as both the

6:11

disruptions that are needed to

6:11

secure freedoms, things like

6:15

protests, or disagreements or

6:15

disruptions, to the status quo

6:20

or to orders passing through

6:20

society or laws in regards to

6:25

things like land and food and

6:25

earth, and also potentially this

6:29

Uranus going through tourists

6:29

the introduction, or the

6:32

intrusion of technology into a

6:32

lot of these processes, for

6:36

better or for worse. For

6:36

instance, in India, we have

6:39

farmers who've been protesting

6:39

in New Delhi, I think since

6:42

September, and they're

6:42

protesting new agricultural laws

6:45

that really further make their

6:45

lives difficult. It makes their

6:49

living nearly impossible, more

6:49

further marginalize them,

6:52

they're already committing

6:52

suicide at astounding rates. And

6:56

it also further centralizes the

6:56

power and the control of food,

6:59

agriculture and supply chains,

6:59

to people who are posing as

7:05

philanthropists, but who are

7:05

actually just like trying to

7:10

think of a nice way to say this,

7:10

but then I'm like, Why do I have

7:12

to be nice about this? People

7:12

posing as philanthropists, but

7:15

who are actually just billionaires looking to have even more power and control than

7:17

they already do? So and for me,

7:21

it demonstrates some of the that

7:21

particular story and demonstrate

7:26

some of the dynamics that we

7:26

have on going through this, the

7:30

Saturn Uranus square where we're

7:30

having like technology and

7:32

disruption and freedom and chaos

7:32

and authoritarianism and

7:37

centralizing power and the

7:37

battle against it all these kind

7:40

of tensions and topics rolling

7:40

together and conflating in some

7:44

ways and in these complex ways.

7:48

We have

7:50

these

7:50

moves as Dr. Shiva has worked

7:52

points out that you know, we're

7:52

big tech is infiltrating big ag

7:56

or merging with big AG, in an

7:56

attempt to displace farmers with

8:00

the use of technology are

8:00

displacing actual food with

8:04

GMOs, displacing soil with

8:04

stripped dirt that has

8:08

absolutely no life or nutrients

8:08

left in it, because it has been

8:11

so overused, with glyphosate and

8:11

other poisons that we were like,

8:17

oh, they're just pesticides. No,

8:17

it's actually just poison. And

8:20

so we see a lot of moves right

8:20

now, where big tech is moving

8:24

into big Ag and you know, with

8:24

their World Economic Forum

8:29

happened a few weeks ago, which

8:29

is just code for billionaire

8:31

collective, which was very

8:31

acquired that stellium and

8:34

Aquarius vibes for me kind of

8:38

all

8:39

really

8:39

focusing around on this idea and

8:42

around these ideas, which they

8:42

have for a few

8:45

years

8:46

now. So it's not surprising to see these moves happening. There's been

8:47

protests in Mayan Mar,

8:51

protesting a military coup that

8:51

happened. What were the current

8:55

leader who won the election is

8:55

now under house arrest. And

8:59

that's an interesting story,

8:59

because there was an article

9:03

that was reiterating that this

9:03

demonstration they were saying

9:07

kind of echoes back to some that

9:07

were happening in August of

9:10

1988. And then I looked at the

9:10

astrology for that moment. And

9:14

that is actually when Saturn and

9:14

Uranus were together in

9:17

Sagittarius. And so now as we

9:17

have Saturn and Uranus squaring

9:20

each other, we're seeing some

9:20

progressions or some

9:23

reiterations or continuations of

9:23

these kinds of stories. In

9:29

Russia, there's the protest

9:29

against the navali arrest and

9:34

again, if you missed the episode

9:34

I did on the Saturn Uranus

9:38

square, which is a theme for

9:38

this year, then go back would go

9:42

back and listen to it. I think

9:42

it's been interesting to follow

9:45

some of these stories around the

9:45

world interesting as a very

9:48

general term and disheartening

9:48

in a lot of ways too. Because it

9:54

just basically training my eyes

9:54

anyways for themes and how to

9:59

look at how these Things are

9:59

manifesting and where they might

10:01

potentially want to play out

10:01

closer to home even

10:04

though

10:06

on the US

10:06

likes to be more sneaky about

10:08

these things. Yeah, I think

10:08

that's all I want to mention

10:12

about those. For now, there's

10:12

been all the progression of all

10:15

the the Trump impeachment and

10:15

the acquittal and all of that,

10:18

but I'm just so like, bored with

10:18

that story that I just don't

10:21

want to,

10:22

I just don't even want to talk about it. So

10:24

I'm not going to let's talk about the Virgo full moon with the move

10:26

into Pisces with the sun, and

10:31

then this beautiful Virgo full

10:31

moon that we have. It's

10:35

happening sort of away from

10:35

these tensions between Saturn

10:40

and Uranus, so to speak, it's

10:40

bringing some energy back into

10:44

the more mutable areas of our

10:44

chart, the signs that like to

10:48

move, disperse, spread out and

10:48

shape shift. Whereas we have had

10:53

a lot of energy in the more

10:53

fixed signs, and a lot of tense

10:57

dynamics happening with the

10:57

fixed signs, such as Aquarius,

11:01

Taurus, Scorpio, and Leo, we're

11:01

all probably a little very aware

11:04

of those parts of our chart

11:04

right now, especially if we have

11:07

personal planets in the early

11:07

degrees of any of those. But

11:13

this Virgo Full Moon is

11:13

happening on Saturday, the 27th

11:16

of February at 317. In the

11:16

morning, at least, that's on

11:19

East Coast time. So it may be

11:19

late in the evening on the 26th

11:23

depending on where you live. And

11:23

it's illuminating the areas of

11:29

our chart that are more

11:29

immutable, that are less fixed.

11:33

And it's demonstrating this sort

11:33

of peak of revelation or a

11:36

combination of some kind. And

11:36

it's happening sort of outside

11:41

of or out of sight of those more

11:41

tense pressures and dynamics

11:48

that I was mentioning a moment

11:48

ago, which I think could have

11:51

leave the opportunity for it to

11:51

feel a little bit nice. And and

11:56

we're having a kind of a

11:56

dispersion of the some of this

11:58

heavy duty Aquarius energies as

11:58

of a couple weeks ago, and we

12:02

have the new moon, we had six of

12:02

the seven visible planets in

12:05

Aquarius, which is a lot,

12:05

there's a lot of Aquarius,

12:08

energy all constantly eating

12:08

together. And now we're starting

12:11

to see that spread out more and

12:11

move about and some new cycles

12:16

beginning to develop. And so I

12:16

think it can serve as an

12:21

opportunity with this moon to

12:21

find places for unity and

12:26

agreement and relationship. As I

12:26

said previously, with Venus

12:30

moving into Pisces, the sun and

12:30

the Venus are both looking at

12:34

the moon right now. And Venus is

12:34

so close to the sun that she's

12:38

not really visible, because it's

12:38

kind of hidden under the beams

12:42

of the sun. So it makes her more

12:42

covered more covert or invisible

12:45

potentially. And so maybe these

12:45

opportunities for agreement or

12:50

relationship are coming together

12:50

maybe things that we have to

12:53

find or make for ourselves or

12:53

engage with behind the scenes.

12:58

Like we find it find excitations

12:58

behind the scenes, for some

13:02

reason the image is coming to

13:02

mind is like this underground

13:06

jazz bar. And you can't see from

13:06

the street, it just looks like a

13:12

gross kind of dirty basement

13:12

door. That's nothing special.

13:16

But once you enter in through

13:16

the door, you're in this like

13:18

Wonderland like underwater

13:18

themed bar with like beautiful

13:23

music and delicious snacks and

13:23

gorgeous interactions. And

13:27

everyone's like dressed nice.

13:27

It's kind of like this, like

13:29

secret, beautiful interaction,

13:29

so to speak, is what this Venus

13:35

moment has me thinking of,

13:35

especially in regards to this

13:38

new moon. I think having some

13:38

respite away from these more

13:44

challenging tensions will have a

13:44

moment of medicine or relief.

13:48

And, again, offer us a moment to

13:48

consider or reflect or

13:52

comprehend a bit of how our

13:52

system works, the systems that

13:56

we live within, but also the

13:56

systems that are within us, like

13:59

we are our own ecosystem, our

13:59

life is an ecosystem that kind

14:04

of moves with us and around us.

14:04

We build it around us. And so

14:10

how can we devote our attention

14:10

to refining the things that we

14:13

care about the ecosystems that

14:13

we build around us the practices

14:17

that serve our individual well

14:17

being our collective well being?

14:23

And what does

14:26

what does

14:26

well being in your life mean to

14:28

you? Right? And how are you

14:28

taking care of it? How can you

14:31

cooperate with things that are

14:31

potentially disruptive to the

14:35

way that you're already doing

14:35

them to the status quo,

14:37

potentially, and use those to

14:37

help unlock a door

14:41

to

14:42

a greater

14:42

sense of well being or a greater

14:44

sense of freedom and your

14:44

experience or celebrate the ways

14:47

that you have been doing that?

14:47

pushing past the known bounds,

14:51

so to speak, so it makes me

14:51

every time I talk about Virgo,

14:57

it's like, you know, we're

14:57

talking about like refining

14:59

We're talking about increasing

14:59

efficiency and optimizing and

15:02

digestion. Right, not just in

15:02

our intestines, though,

15:06

definitely. That because gut

15:06

health is so crucial to overall

15:10

health, and I would also argue

15:10

to our intuition, but also the

15:14

overall life digestion, right,

15:14

our energetic digestion? Are we

15:18

only consuming information and

15:18

stories and data? Or are we also

15:24

giving ourselves time to digest

15:24

what we have eaten with our

15:27

attention? Are we giving

15:27

ourselves time to filter it

15:30

through, sorted out, decide what

15:30

is waste, decide what is

15:33

nourishing, what is for us, what

15:33

is not for us what's with our

15:37

alignment, what's not, and to

15:37

kind of bouncing it off of our

15:40

own knowing. So it was a, an

15:40

opportunity to be in the

15:43

refining process of this or the

15:43

practice of how we're taking

15:47

care of ourselves, and our well

15:47

being and our digestion and all

15:51

aspects of life and optimizing

15:51

them, and optimizing the systems

15:55

in and around our lives to

15:55

deepen our own effectiveness and

15:59

our sense of well being and the

15:59

well being of everyone around

16:02

us. And I want to reiterate that

16:02

filtration process, it's come up

16:08

a lot in sessions and in

16:08

conversations lately, the sense

16:11

of, and it happens a lot for me

16:11

on a felt level where I just

16:14

feel overwhelmed. It's like, oh,

16:14

because I haven't given myself

16:18

time to filter out I haven't

16:18

bounced it off by internal

16:22

knowing I've just been in taking

16:22

because it's so easy. There's so

16:25

much information, there's always

16:25

like at podcasts that I'm trying

16:28

to listen to, or 80 million

16:28

books that I'm trying to read.

16:31

And so it's like when I get into

16:31

that zone where I'm just like

16:34

eating it, eating it reading,

16:34

reading, listening, listening,

16:37

it's it's not I there starts

16:37

that I start to become divorced

16:40

from my own knowing a little

16:41

bit when I haven't

16:42

allowed

16:42

myself time to incubate the

16:44

filtrate to digest through some

16:44

of that, and let it you know,

16:49

integrate what is meaningful for

16:49

me and to discard what is not.

16:53

And so I want to bounce back to

16:53

you that you're qualified to

16:56

listen to yourself, you're

16:56

qualified this trust yourself

16:59

and this age where we're so

16:59

obsessed with hierarchy and

17:02

expertise. And I'm not saying

17:02

that being an expert is not

17:05

something that's valuable. I'm

17:05

just saying that it's often

17:08

positioned in a way that is

17:08

disempowering, where it's like,

17:10

oh, I'm an expert, therefore you

17:10

don't know anything about it, or

17:12

you don't know how to read this

17:12

study, or whatever. And I think

17:15

when it's positioned in this

17:15

hierarchical way, that's

17:17

disempowering. I think it is

17:17

harmful, and I am not a fan. And

17:21

it can divorce us from our own

17:21

sense of power, and then knowing

17:25

that is actually inside us. And

17:25

that we don't have to give

17:28

control over our knowing to

17:28

other people, we don't have to

17:31

submit our knowing to the

17:31

approval of others, you have a

17:35

knowing you have a wisdom, you

17:35

have a gut, you have an

17:38

intuition. And these are

17:38

powerful things, when we access

17:43

them when we trust them. And I'm

17:43

just a big fan of that. And I'm

17:48

not a fan of them. When we know

17:48

them, when we trust them, we

17:53

don't have to bow our intuition

17:53

to someone else's outside

17:58

opinion. And as a collective, we

17:58

need you to also know these

18:02

tools and this knowing inside of

18:02

you and to trust them because

18:06

they are very powerful. What do

18:06

you want to light up around

18:12

right? How do you want to digest

18:12

what do you want to create

18:14

ritual around, evaluate

18:14

appreciate the culmination of

18:19

some of your practices, some of

18:19

your well being your

18:23

relationship to Earth that which

18:23

is disruptive, and that which is

18:26

freeing and dissolve what isn't

18:26

helpful, right? That is an

18:30

inherent part of the digestive

18:30

process, we intake what is

18:33

nourishing, and we dismiss what

18:33

is not nourishing, and then we

18:37

repeat it at a pace that makes

18:37

sense for us. So you don't have

18:41

to submit your process to other

18:41

people for approval, or for

18:45

justification, please do not

18:45

disempower yourself that way.

18:49

I'm sure that will come up more

18:49

again, I've been doing a lot of

18:52

writing and work for a future

18:52

teaching around money. Because

18:58

it's just been coming up a lot

18:58

and just regenerative ways of

19:00

thinking around our energy

19:00

around money and also money in

19:03

general. So I'm sure that this

19:03

will come up again. In regards

19:07

to that. I want to read briefly

19:07

from Robin wall. kimmerer is

19:13

braiding sweetgrass, because it

19:13

has a lot of to me this

19:17

beautiful Virgo earth energy in

19:17

it, and it's a beautiful

19:21

invitation for personal ceremony

19:21

and renewal and so I want to

19:26

share it in honor of the Virgo

19:26

Full Moon this week.

19:30

She says,

19:32

ceremony

19:32

focuses attention so that

19:34

attention becomes intention. If

19:34

you stand together and profess a

19:39

thing before your community, it

19:39

holds you accountable.

19:42

ceremonies transcend the

19:42

boundaries of the individual and

19:46

resonate and resonate beyond the

19:46

human realm. These acts of

19:49

reverence are powerfully

19:49

pragmatic. These are ceremonies

19:53

that magnify life and many

19:53

indigenous communities. The

19:57

hymns of our ceremonial robes

19:57

have been unraveled by time and

20:01

history, but the fabric remains

20:01

strong. And the dominant society

20:05

though ceremony seems to have

20:05

withered away. I suppose there

20:09

are many reasons for that. The

20:09

frenetic pace of life,

20:13

dissolution of community, the

20:13

sense that ceremony is an

20:16

artifact of organized religion

20:16

forced upon participants rather

20:20

than a celebration joyfully

20:20

chosen. The ceremonies that

20:24

persist birthdays, weddings,

20:24

funerals, focus only on

20:27

ourselves, marking rites of

20:27

personal transition. Perhaps the

20:31

most universal is high school

20:31

graduation. I love graduation in

20:35

my small town with the whole

20:35

community dressed up and filling

20:38

the auditorium on a June

20:38

evening, whether you have a kid

20:41

graduating or not, there's a

20:41

sense of community and the

20:44

shared emotions, pride for the

20:44

young people walking across the

20:47

stage relief for some a good

20:47

dose of nostalgia and

20:51

remembrance. We celebrate these

20:51

beautiful young people who have

20:54

enriched our lives. And we honor

20:54

their hard work and

20:57

accomplishment against all odds.

20:57

We tell them that they are hope

21:02

for the future. We encourage

21:02

them to go off into the world

21:05

and pray that they will come

21:05

back home, we applaud for them.

21:09

They applaud for us, everyone

21:09

cries a little and then the

21:12

parties begin. And at least in

21:12

our little town, we know it's

21:16

not an empty ritual. The

21:16

ceremony has power. Our

21:19

collective good wishes really do

21:19

fuel the confidence and strength

21:23

of young people about to leave

21:23

home. That ceremony reminds them

21:26

of where they come from, and

21:26

their responsibilities to the

21:29

community that has supported

21:29

them. We hope it inspires them.

21:33

And the checks tucked into the

21:33

graduation cards really do help

21:36

make their way in the world.

21:36

These ceremonies to magnify

21:41

life. We know how to carry out

21:41

this right for each other, and

21:44

we do it well. But imagine

21:44

standing by the river, flooded

21:49

with those same feelings as the

21:49

salmon marched into the

21:52

auditorium of their estuary rise

21:52

in their honor. Thank them for

21:56

all the ways they have enriched

21:56

our lives seeing to honor their

22:00

hard work and accomplishments

22:00

against all odds. Tell them they

22:04

are hope for the future.

22:04

Encourage them to go off into

22:07

the world to grow and pray that

22:07

they will come home then the

22:11

feasting begins. Can we extend

22:11

our bonds of celebration and

22:15

support from our own species to

22:15

the others who need us. Many

22:21

indigenous traditions still

22:21

recognize the place of ceremony

22:24

and often focus their

22:24

celebrations on other species

22:27

and events in the cycle of the

22:27

seasons. In a colonist society

22:32

the ceremonies that endure are

22:32

not about land. They're about

22:35

family and culture values that

22:35

are transportable from the old

22:38

country. ceremonies for the

22:38

land, no doubt existed there,

22:43

but it seems they did not

22:43

survive immigration in any

22:46

substantial way. I think there

22:46

is wisdom and regenerating them

22:50

here as a means to form bonds

22:50

with this land. To have agency

22:54

in the world. ceremonies should

22:54

be reciprocal co creations

22:58

organic in nature, in which the

22:58

community creates ceremony and

23:02

the ceremony creates

23:02

communities. They should not be

23:06

cultural appropriations from

23:06

native peoples, but generating

23:09

new ceremony in today's world is

23:09

hard to do. There are towns I

23:13

know that hold Apple festivals

23:13

and moose mania. But despite the

23:17

wonderful food, they tend

23:17

towards the commercial,

23:20

educational events like

23:20

wildflower weekends, and

23:23

Christmas bird counts are all

23:23

steps in the right direction.

23:26

But they lack an active

23:26

reciprocal relationship with the

23:29

more than human world. I want to

23:29

stand by the river in my finest

23:34

dress, and want to sing strong

23:34

and hard and stomp my feet with

23:39

100 others so that the waters

23:39

hum with our happiness, I want

23:43

to dance for the renewal of the

23:43

world.

23:50

I thought that was a

23:50

really, really beautiful

23:53

commentary on the ceremony

23:56

and an invitation to something that is profoundly simple, and communal

23:58

and purposeful. And it engages

24:04

with our actual ecosystem both

24:04

within

24:07

and without us

24:09

in a way

24:09

that's really powerful and

24:12

needed. Of course, if you've

24:12

listened to this podcast, or

24:14

literally anything that I've

24:14

made recently, then you'll know

24:17

that that's something that's

24:17

really important to me. Another

24:23

thing I like about this passage,

24:23

you know she's talking about

24:26

graduation too is that

24:26

ceremonies can also be deeply

24:29

practical, which Virgo loves.

24:29

Virgo loves something that can

24:33

also be actually helpful and of

24:33

service and practical in a way

24:39

that's measurable and

24:41

efficient.

24:44

So from here, we're going to move into a channeled message that came

24:46

through for this moment and

24:49

after that I will close us out

24:49

with a poem prayer.

25:07

It's time to broaden

25:07

your vision. It's time to

25:15

understand the true scope of

25:15

what you are experiencing of

25:25

what you are looking at. of the

25:25

impact of your decisions and

25:33

your routes. The roots of a tree

25:33

go far nothing happens in

25:47

isolation. Because the roots of

25:47

a tree go far and because the

25:52

roots of a tree connect to all

25:52

of the other trees, what happens

25:57

three miles away, affects the

25:57

roots affects the tree which

26:03

affects the community. We must

26:03

broaden our scope and learn or

26:12

unlearn rather, seeing things in

26:12

isolation, measuring things in

26:20

isolation, so that we feel like

26:20

we can understand them. Of

26:30

course, what happens 30 feet

26:30

away affects the present plays.

26:37

Of course, what happens three

26:37

miles away affects the present

26:41

plays. Of course, what happens

26:41

on the other side of the globe

26:45

affects the present place,

26:45

nothing happens in isolation.

26:52

What happens to the air effects,

26:52

what happens to the soil what

26:56

happens to the water effects,

26:56

what happens to the soil what

27:00

happens to the air affects the

27:00

food affects the health effects

27:06

the seeing affects everything.

27:06

What causes harm in one realm

27:16

causes harm and other realms as

27:16

well. There is no such thing as

27:20

isolated harm. We have been sold

27:20

the idea of isolated harm so

27:31

that we can justify bad decision

27:31

making. And when I say we I mean

27:39

the culture that we've been sold

27:39

into. that we can isolate harm

27:51

by just consolidating it and

27:51

putting it into a stone building

27:55

of punishment, that we can

27:55

isolate harm or contain it in

28:03

some way. So that the culture

28:03

can continue to make money or

28:17

pretend to displace it. There's

28:17

no such thing as isolated harm.

28:23

And on the counter side of that

28:23

there is also no such thing as

28:26

isolated healing. Your roots

28:26

matter. The soil around you

28:33

matters what you breathe in

28:33

matters what you exude matters,

28:38

the water that you're taking in

28:38

matters.

28:46

All problems are intertwined,

28:46

just as all solutions are

28:50

intertwined. And anyone who

28:50

tells you differently, is

28:57

incorrect. They have a limited

28:57

scope of vision. We would say a

29:03

limited scope of vision is also

29:03

the same thing. As an agenda, it

29:09

is too focused. It causes harm

29:09

because of its lack of broad

29:16

vision. Seeing too narrowly

29:16

focused on one thing only is

29:24

harm. Failing to see the broad

29:24

scope of actions and choices is

29:32

causing harm. How do you position yourself?

29:40

Where do you stand in order to

29:45

see the true VISTA of being

29:55

we don't have to look smaller

29:55

necessarily to untape Every

30:01

tangle, we must simply practice

30:01

looking bigger. When where we

30:08

see the locations, the times the

30:08

places of all the tangles begin

30:18

to make choices that benefit.

30:18

The whole the scope. Instead of

30:24

pretending that this tangle is

30:24

not connected to the other one

30:29

they are. Just as in the body, we see that

30:37

systems can heal themselves when

30:42

they're given what they need,

30:42

how can we look at the big

30:46

picture and begin to give what

30:46

we see what it needs. So that I

30:53

can heal itself, which is true

30:53

power. regeneration is true

31:00

power living in a regenerative

31:00

way, is true power and

31:05

regeneration looks at the big

31:05

picture. This is true when we

31:13

look at our societies, our

31:13

relationships, our health, our

31:21

collective experience, when we

31:21

give, when we give it what it

31:38

needs, when we give the system

31:38

what it needs, has the power to

31:42

heal itself. And when it is

31:42

healed, it has the power to

31:47

create life in an ongoing way.

31:47

This is the vision and we are so

32:03

often sold things that are so

32:03

short of this.

32:15

We should not settle for

32:15

anything less than this. for

32:18

anything less than a

32:18

regenerative experience or

32:21

regenerative future. We should

32:21

not settle for anything less

32:26

than this when we give the

32:26

system what it needs. It heals.

32:33

We give the relationship what it

32:33

needs. It heals, whether it's

32:39

relationship between humans or

32:39

species or with land or with

32:45

health with the systems of our

32:45

body. We give it what it needs,

32:49

it heals and when it heals, it

32:49

creates life in an ongoing way,

32:54

which is what regeneration

32:54

means. Nothing happens in

33:02

isolation. Everything exists in

33:02

a circle it is either helping

33:14

into a loop of helping and

33:14

healing or it is harming into a

33:20

loop of harming the lie of isolation is harm.

33:27

How do you orient yourself? How

33:42

do you see yourself within the

33:42

broad scope within the big

33:45

picture within the VISTA? How do

33:45

you see yourself within that and

33:52

of that, a part of that how do

33:52

you see yourself not in

33:56

isolation which is harm. But

33:56

with roots extended, reaching,

34:05

grasping, touching, holding. All

34:05

that is true all that is

34:15

happening all that is real.

34:24

You are not an isolation.

34:24

Isolation is a lie and isolation

34:30

is harm there is no such thing

34:30

as a solution. in isolation.

34:36

Isolation is a lie. That is never the solution.

34:44

Because the isolation is anti

34:49

life. Isolation is harm it is

34:49

against life. Reach down into

35:01

your roots. See the far reaching

35:01

capacities, nutrients needs

35:07

community relationships. But

35:07

these inform your way of being

35:14

your choices, your decisions,

35:14

and also your understanding of

35:20

how powerful, how big and how

35:20

braided you are. And give

35:28

thanks. Okay.

35:38

We're gonna close with this poem by Rainer Maria Rilke. With the

35:40

translation by joanna Macy. The

35:45

name of the poem is called

35:45

widening circles. I live my life

35:50

and widening circles that reach

35:50

out across the world. I may not

35:54

complete this last one, but I

35:54

give myself to it. I circle

35:58

around God around the primordial

35:58

tower. I've been circling for

36:03

1000s of years and I still don't

36:03

know.

36:06

Am I a Falcon, a storm

36:06

or a great song?

36:13

I love

36:13

Rocha. This particular book,

36:16

it's called the book of hours

36:16

love poems to God, which is a

36:19

translation by joanna Macy, in

36:19

particular has been on my

36:22

nightstand for many, many years.

36:22

At this point,

36:26

I think I'm gonna read this again.

36:29

It's so

36:29

short, I just love the thought

36:31

of it. The primordial tower

36:31

reminds me a little bit of what

36:35

came through for the channeled

36:35

message a couple weeks ago,

36:38

about this kind of this pillar

36:38

of light that we're around and

36:43

searching for, and also our and

36:43

how our identity gets muted,

36:49

mutated, so to speak, or is

36:49

mixed,

36:55

so to speak,

36:56

or is all

36:56

of these things at once. I live

37:02

my life in widening circles that

37:02

reach out across the world. I

37:06

may not complete this last one,

37:06

but I give myself to it. I

37:10

circle around God around the

37:10

primordial tower. I've been

37:14

circling for 1000s of years and

37:14

I still don't know Am I a

37:18

falcon?

37:19

A storm? Or a great

37:19

song? Thank you all

37:26

so much

37:26

for being here. I wish you well

37:29

Miss Virgo full moon and I would

37:29

challenge you to take Robin wall

37:33

kimmerer his advice can you

37:33

create ceremony in community

37:38

with the ecosystem that

37:40

is around

37:40

you? And within you Can you

37:43

dance for the renewal of the earth?

37:45

And what does that look like?

37:49

Thank you for being here.

37:50

Next week, we will dive into March. And I wish

37:50

you well be well.

37:57

Peace.
