🎧In Episode 35 of the Home Design Podcast we sit down with David Serle, the President of Broward, Palm Beach & St Lucie Realtors for an exclusive insider's look into the real estate industry.

In this episode, we're peeling back the layers to uncover the latest trends, strategies, and insights shaping the global real estate landscape. 🌍 From innovative approaches to buying and selling properties to navigating the complexities of international markets, David shares his expertise to help you stay ahead in the game.

A realtor not only helps with the process of buying and selling homes. The relationship with a realtor starts before the transaction. A professional realtor will help guide their clients to make the best decisions possible based on the knowledge that they have with an area, type of home, and general market conditions. A realtor is a lifelong resource for all things home.

What is the NAR Settlement? There is no standard 6% of commission for realtors. Commissions have always been a negotiated number to help with deals and to close them as effectively as possible in favor of their clients. The settlement was a $418million settlement that the NAR must pay over the next four years. A buyer written agreement is now required for any purchase of real estate today. This has increased the level of transparency than what we have seen over the past years. A buyer may have to be able to be represented and sellers will continue to pay to be represented. The biggest change in real estate transactions is that all buyers and sellers will have actual written agreements with their relationship with their representing realtor.

In this episode you will learn about all aspects of real estate transactions, how to hire a realtor, the questions that you should know to ask, and the value of purchasing a home.

Whether you're a seasoned real estate professional or just a home owner, this episode is a must-listen!
