In this episode, I review Slapper, a multi-tap delay plugin brought to us by The Cargo Cult. Because of its excellent GUI and surround sound features, it stands out in the crowded software delay market. I decided to review it now, as it has just been released in VST and Audio Unit formats, and opening it up to use with almost any DAW!
In addition, we kick off our brand new "Recording 101" feature with an overview of Pre-Production. We are starting at the top! And yes, I am assuming that the composition has already been done by the artist, or if you are recording your own music, then yourself. In this feature, I aim to shine light on the various aspects of bringing a production together, and today, we discuss how a good recording does not actually start with the recording.
