Hi! I’m so glad you decided to stop by!Ever since I was a kid, I wanted to become a teacher. And I did! Many years later, I got several degrees under my belt and became a college professor. I loved it, but I love my twin daughters even more! As an older mom, had my kids at 40, I felt time with my girls would run out too soon. In a blink of an eye, they would be off to college, married, with kids, and so much more. I wanted to treasure my time with them.So when I had the opportunity to take early retirement, I took it! Not that I’m “really” retired. I help my husband with his online business, and as of four years ago, I homeschool my twin daughters. Then two years ago, my niece and my nephew came to live with us full time! Wow! I went from homeschooling one grade to homeschooling three!!! Yikes!
As Calvin Coolidge put it, “Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent.” So with a little structure and a lot of flexibility, we meet our challenges and celebrate our success!
