Have you ever wished there was an app that would allow you to name your own price for meals? Well, our guest this week has granted your wish with his new app, Requested. Sonny Mayugba ran a successful skate and boarding magazine, co-founded the very hip Red Rabbit Kitchen and Bar and his most recent venture allows users to request deals from restaurants directly.

We sat down with him at Midtown's newest co-working spot, The Trade. They serve Blue Bottle coffee in the front and offer a bright and beautiful coworking space in the back with lots of great conference rooms for meetings.

After drinking some cans of Ruhstaller Captn. a California Black IPA and discussing Sonny's journey from foodie to restaurant owner to app founder, we booted up the app and requested a deal on beers and appetizers. Listen to the episode to hear our experience.
