Throughout the bible, there are times, when the people of God come together for a one-off special offering. In Exodus chapter 35 they come to pool their resources for the building of the tabernacle. This was a one off free will offering in faith, for a future preferred vision of what God might do among them. Today, he dwells, not in a tent, but in his people, the church. We are also taking a one off special offering for the outreach work of Hope Church in Guildford and beyond.
