Wendy resides in California, her kidney disease diagnosis started with an infection in her kidney while pregnant with her son, later on it would be determined that Wendy has FSGS (Focal Segmental glomerulosclerosis), a rare disease that affects and scars the filters in the kidneys!

Wendy’s battle with kidney disease has been a wild ride, throughout the years of different stages of CKD (Chronic Kidney Disease) facing kidney failure, having to do dialysis and a recent kidney transplant, even with all of this she remains optimistic and positive and shares her kidney disease journey on her YouTube channel!
