It’s their secret sauce. For decades, the Democrats have had an ideological lock on the judiciary. It has been their failsafe for policy when they are unable to pass desired legislation, promulgate burdensome regulations, or affect change with either a swipe of the President’s pen or by propaganda delivered through the media, the educational system, and Hollywood. Some states are spending megabucks to ensure an accurate census count. California and New York are each spending heavily on the once in a decade count. Texas is spending nothing. One recent local article claims that by failing to invest, Texas risks an undercount among minorities which would deprive us of proper representation (and funding) from Washington. “Bad old Republicans” blamed for worrying they will lose seats if more Dems get counted. Impeachment is doomed to endless future abuses. Nothing worried the framers more when the Constitution was being cast into shape than impeachment.
