Three speakers delivered a talk on the contribution that academic research makes to the work of government at the Centre for Science and Policy reception in Cambridge on 18 February 2015. Speakers included Sir Mark Walport (Government Chief Scientific Adviser), Katrina Williams (Director General, Department for Energy and Climate Change) and Professor Ottoline Leyser (Director of the Sainsbury Laboratory, University of Cambridge).
