George Bernard Shaw famously said, “We don’t stop playing because we grow old; we grow old because we stop playing.” I love this!

If I asked you “How often do you play? Let go? Have fun for the fun of it? Just totally trust your intuition?” The answer would be “rarely” or “not often enough”.

We live in a busy world that demands high performance, multi-tasking, following the process and playing by the rules. We are left overwhelmed and confused with not much room for creativity in our everyday lives. As a result, we have lost our connection to our deep, inner, true, creative and intuitive selves.

Today’s episode is all about the benefits of play, and because I’m an artist, I want to share the benefits of intuitive painting.
