#19 - Sometimes we don’t really know what we expect or want from our marriages! Do we want a best friend, soul mate, co-parent, etc? Having those labels can sometimes affect we manage our relationships. In this case, defining our marriage in these terms can help temper our expectations. We can go to our best friends for a certain type of support, and then turn to our husband for other types! While we absolutely want friendship at the heart of our marriage, sometimes figuring out who are husbands are to us can be key to improving our relationships!
