In 1803 two men would lead an expedition across the United States in search of a waterway passage to the Pacific Ocean. The journey wouldn't be easy because they decided to travel by boat rather than taking a plane like a smart person would do. In this week's episode of HPH we're taking a look at the origins and first year or so of the expedition.
