The Hunger Games Trilogy, by Suzanne Collins, takes place in a post apocalyptic future were the United States of America has collapsed and supplanted by Panem, a country divided into the Capitol and 12 districts.Each year, two young representatives between the ages of 12 and 18 are selected from each district to participate in The Hunger Games.
