Since “The Nerdy Wordy” podcast is in video format, we recorded the episode using Zoom. The audio quality is not great due to the connection speed of one of the participants. I tweaked the audio as best I could.

The episode takes a turn toward a philosophical debate that could have continued much longer. But I recognized that a participant was suffering from confirmation bias — the tendency for humans to interpret new evidence as confirmation of one's existing beliefs or theories.
