This could have been interesting, but the plot is weak, the dialogue and acting is not great, and everything happens far too quickly. I was drawn in by the mention of Tony Shalhoub, but I couldn't get past the first few episodes.

Didn't grab me. Catherine is so fragile and her mother doesn't seem that bad (although she is). Catherine's reactions seem hyper dramatic and hollow. She makes shallow assumptions. I just didn't care what happened to Catherine. Stopped on episode 3.
