I've been enjoying Hilary's podcasts from 12 years ago for... the past 12 years. Have listened to them repeatedly, and usually get something new from it. (The I Ching is like that.)Just this week I've listened to episode 5 again, a reading about staying in a flow of energy (that is, when having trouble getting anything done), because I cast a similar reading on a similar topic and it rang a bell. Wasn't something like this on the podcast; didn't Hilary have interesting things to say? Yes, on both counts: good, practical insights.Looking forward to more.

I Ching with Clarity provides scholarly and in-depth information and discussions about the I Ching. It reveals the hidden workings of this ancient divination tool which I have used faithfully if intermittently for over 50 years. It has got me out of many holes, emotionally and psychologically. However, I have never studied it in depth nor sought to have a reading analysed by a scholar of I Ching. Hilary Barrett has an encyclopedic knowledge of its mechanics and interpretation and has created a wonderful interactive resource for anyone who wants to make best use of this extraordinary book.

One of the things we don't get from books is how to go about exploring a hexagram and how to get or give an actual reading. Really helpful to hear how an experienced reader approaches this challenge!

I am a newbie to Y ching, but very convinced of all possibilities for personal development that this oracle allows us. Learning to interpret Y ching was a challenge I set to myself at this time. Hilary is quite knowledgeable and passionate about that subject and I am very lucky to have the opportunity to learn with her.
