Hands down, best episode yet! 

Hondo is a great friend, and an even greater activist. He was on house arrest during the recording of this episode, hopefully with the end in sight. 

He shares as much as he can about his journey, from his upbringing, to his entry into activism, from the events leading to his house arrest, to where we are now, and we talk plenty about where we need to go next. I'm not gonna spoil anything, I'm gonna let him tell you!

Specifically, I talk about the aldermanic race in St. Louis' 3rd Ward, and the challenges faced by Herdosia "Kalambayi" Bentum as she works with the International People's Democratic Uhuru Movement and the Black Power Blueprint to restore north city to a place its residents can call home, and to lay an economic foundation owned by the community which can be built on for years to come.
